Deep Digger any updates?

The ultimate bunker buster! A weapon designed to penetrate solid rock, firing round after round of explosive material(from seven cannons) which disintegrates rather than clogs up the newly excavated area. Reaches a certain depth then explodes. AT least thats the basic theory anyone got anything else on this weapon? This has been mentioned on ATS before just wondering if anything has moved on it since.

Such as has it been added to the arsenal? Sounds like a weapon of choice for certain underground facilities in the news at the moment.

from the sounds of the defense tech article i dont think that it has been added to the us arsenal but i think that the us are about to add it and that it is undergoing final trials.
