I think many might fall into the Libertarian party's philosophy as I do. Fiscally conservative, social liberal. They beleive in low taxation, a
reduction int he federal government, and the right to do as you choose as long as it harms no one else. they beleive you should be allowed to own
guns, smoke weed, and not wear your seatbelt if you so choose. These are personal choices and the feds have no right to say anything about them.
Springer, and others probably fall into the libertarian leaning group, and many do not know its out there. I am registered libertarian, and am
commited to the downfall of the grossly innefficient 2 party system.

Personally I don't like labels. You cannot just put people in neat little drawers marked "liberal" or "conservative".
People's view vary on different issues. In some areas a person may be on the liberal side, while on other issues they may choose a more conservative
stance.
What I want to know is why it is so important to put that label on my forehead and sort me into a bin?
If you want to give me a label honey, you can stick me in the "non-specified" bin.

ktrp, i am not moving to NH, but love the idea of the free state project. Havig a state that is libertarian and proving to the rest how well it works
is a stroke of genius and a testament to the long haul that Libertarians are commited too (rather than a short revolution). I honestly beleive that
most of middle america likes some things that both parties have to say, and the Libertarian alternative most accurately defines their true beleifs.
Fiscally conservative, socially liberal.
As to kaoszero" some call him socialist, some anarchist", could you pick two more diametrically opposed descriptions? Anarchists are the farthest
from socialists I can thing of. Which is why i never understood 'chumbawumba's claim to be an anarchists commune. That is an oxymoron. Anarchists
are like Outback Steakhouse="no rules, just right". Socialists are like " no matter how hard one works, we all get the same benefit" Great for a
small group, terrible for an economy. Maybe your point was to show how hard your convictions are to pin down, but some advice....pick at least a
personal philosophy (not neccessarily a label). But really figure out what you stand for, and persue it.
I personlly stand for free trade, freedom, pulling your own weight, and making your own way in this crazy world. I stand for freedom for everyone,
which includes freedom to excel, and freedom to fail and pay the consequences. Freedom for the lazy to get their just desserts, and freedom for the
hardworking/innovative to reap their just rewards.

VOD,
I am 43 years of age and I left home when I was 18 years of age.
I paid my way through college and then later through university, no student loans.
My parents never gave me anything.
You owe me an apology and I expect it!

Liberatarian Capitalist PIG
Yep, that's me baby!
I beleive a person should be able to do WHATEVER he/she wants as long as it does NOT require ME to pay for it or hurts anyone else.
I beleive the government should take care of the military, roads, and crooks/murderers. THAT'S IT, nothing else.
STATES should house their homeless, feed their hungry, protect their environments and take care of their uninsured sick. Abolish the federal income
tax and impliment a national sales tax to pay for the Federal crap and slap a property tax on ALL property (especially corporate) for the states on
top of a state sales tax.
I assure you just the taxes on my drinking/eating money each week they could build a school in a year or two.
Those who MAKE the money SPEND the money. THAT'S how you avoid the bull# tax shelters that are available now. You make taxes a point of purchase
transaction.
My tax attorney utilizes EVERY tax loophole in the book, if I paid my taxes every time I bought something I would PAY MORE TAXES! That's okay with me
though. I would be in control of how much I pay, I like that. I would only pay for what I consumed, I like that too.
This whole tax and spend philosophy is going to be our ruin. Guys like me are going to BAIL OUT with our money in tow BEFORE we retire. Leaving ZIP
for the beurocrats to piss away...

The key word within your diatribe was "Divide." This is exactly the intent of our two-party system, as well as most of the double-talk rhetoric our

believe these days.
Hopefully, more will awaken to this. Unfortunatley, I think its gonna take a powerful slap in the face before we get off our apathetic, lazy asses
and take the country/world back from the people we pay to keep us in such disarray.

Brash is a good word to describe me. O' course, it isn't an all-the-time sort of thing, but... I got my point across without ranting too much,
right?
There may be "intelligent design" behind the division of political parties and "sides"(conservatives and liberals), but I sure as hell don't see
one. All it does is cause petty little fight over stupid stuff like taxes. We just need to get over the idiocy and fight for a common cause. Erg...
fat chance of that while Bush is in. Republicans swear by his name and democrats are looking for ways to assassinate him and keep Cheney from getting
office at the same time.
Overall, I agree that something very bad will have to happen before the ignorant populace gets up to fight for something.
Signing off,

You're 43 years old and your internet handle is "The Neo"??!
You're a "Right wing Gladiator" but you "Fight the Man"??!
HAHAHA....Pathetic
You're an undercover cop whose spends most of his "postings" trying to illicit personal information about ATS members. Plain and Simple. Your
populous rants mixed with cliche linear thinking shows that this "persona" you're trying to get us to buy is clearly the product of
state-sponsored-beauracratic thinking.
"What is real???" Morpheus asked Neo. "How do you define real", he continued. "If reality is only what you can see, smell and touch then
reality is nothing more than receptor signals in you brain."
What do you think he really meant by that 'Neo'? What do you think Morpheus would say to the question "Are you a liberal or a
conservative?"
You stand at a criticl moment in your development right now Neo. you have the opprotunity to break your conditioning, or at least parts of your
reality tunnel...right here and now. Whether you chose this assignment or it was given to you by your "authorities" makes no difference out here in
this universe. This was no coincidance, Neo.
There are other realities where people really hurt and they can use your help. "Stay and see just how far the rabbit hole goes"
