Such things are possible in England, where literacy is high and so is the possibility for success, as compared to places such as Pakistan.

3000 students had to be dispersed by police armed with tear gas in pakistan.
The students were protesting against the danish cartoons.There have been demos everyday but this has been the worst so far.

There are some interesting comments from the pakistani president at the bottom of this article.
I am hoping these protests all over the world run out of steam soon,here in England the moderate muslims seem to be turning on the extremists and I feel this can only be a good thing for future relations.
So maybe some good will come out of all this afterall thoughts please.
