Strange object from mars rovers

Our brain is specialised in recognizing faces. Therefore we can rapidely focus on whatever looks like a face. A little trick from mother nature.

Hehe, that's why I didn't post this on the Aliens/UFOs subject.
But, darn it, I thought I had found something for a little while.

yeah i think its cool but the little balls are more interesting for sure. thers like millions of them.

Doesn't the gravity in space (or slight lack of) make certain things spherical?
Hance why the planets and most stars are rounded.

There is plenty of gravity on mars. Just as there is plenty of gravity on earth.

OMGOSH that is too creepy. I want to say that is a rock, I really really want to say its a rock, but it looks like a head, and look at the neck.....rocks dont tear. AAAAAA

I think it's a rock but what if it was a body in a shallow grave and the wind has blown away the top dust? (theory)

I want google Mars. I will buy it if they sold it. Also google Titan and Europa.

Google Pluto would be good also.

The stones are weired maybe lack of rain and water no corrosion.

I have JUST FOUND A cool website I will make a post in 5 mins time it has space video footage around 25mis worth with objects flying over earth in space like the stones in this photo. look out for new post UFO footage in space. Lasts 25mins. But do doubt some stuff like the use of editting to make up certain UFOs effects like a guy with a light in a dark room. But the rest looks great.

yep, i think its a real honest to goodness face. i mean just look at it two eyes, nose, mouth, ear. come on call it what it is. why is everyone so afraid to know that there is others out there. or we could of went out there years ago. we surly dont tell everything we do you know.

I agree! There is way too much detail fot this to be some shadowy optical illusion. I don't know that this is some uncovered martian corpse, but I do believe that it is probably part of a statue or something of that nature.

As for the little round stones, I also agree that these seem way too semetrical to be natural. In the left, bottom corner of the photo you can see what a real natural stone looks like (photo below).



If you look right next to this rock you can see what looks like a painting (photo below). I rather resembles a flower, but its a little hard to make out. Regardless of what you might think it represents, it does not look like it is part of a natural landscape.

I just found a second face, to the left of the original about 4 rocks down. This one looks like it is carved into the rock. I wish i could figure out how to edit the image, but even my wife found it, it is plain as day.

Personally, I think it's a "mummified skull/ancient statue", or at least that's what it looked like to yours truly.

However, I am a self-proclaimed "skeptic-believer" ......

I posted it to see what others with more experience with photographs thought

I can remove virii/spyware all day, but decently edit a photo to tell what's going on.....hell......I can't even take a decent photo to begin with

that looks like someone painted a flower on there. they had to be there for that to happen wouldnt they.

With modern technology we can write the entire bible on a fingernail.

Dont you think aliens can paint a flower on Mars from a distance with their technology?

I definitely agree that it looks like a face. The notion that the mouth is a shadow of the nose doesn't pan out, because the shadow would stretch from the nose, not lying three inches below it. I think we should send another rover out there with DNA testing equipment... perhaps it's Jimmy hoffa!

I agree, the shadow of the "nose" idea doesn't seem to pan out to me neither.
Heh, and all these years we thought it was the government that had the ufo tech, all along it was the mafia/corrupt unions in cahoots with them

Yep its defo a face and it is cool, but thats the exact reason i joined ATS to see things like this.

The nose is a shadow [(so is the mouth for that matter)]. The angle of the shadow is identical to the angle of a shadow cast by another rock in the upper right corner.

The eyes are the "blueberry" rocks. They are identical to other rocks from the image. The angle of the shadow cast by these rocks are identical to other shadows.

Personally, I see a definate line for the nose and the ear and the mouth.
The "eyes" still appear to be "sockets" to me....
