here is a site ive found (im still looking) that refers to "tiny people" 8 or 9 inches tall....the author claims to have small artifacts from the tiny people including an axehead smaller than a dime...

In my 46 years of experience and 30 years of research I have found it expedient to call them Little People when speaking of the 3 to 2 foot species and Tiny People when speaking of the 6 to 8 inch variety. I believe that they are two, entirely different peoples and that the smaller species have become extinct. The last reliable public sighting I have been able to recover of the Tiny People occurred in 1935 by 3 Mexican hunters in Cucharas Canyon area west of Trinidad. Although one reliable source known to me, related that he himself had seen a male, approximately 9 inches tall for several minutes in 1986. It was a clear sighting in broad day light at about 4 o-clock in the afternoon. The little fellow was about 20 feet from the observant, dressed in a one piece brown garment that appeared to be of leather. He was wearing loose, ankle length foot gear and what the observant could only call a Robin Hood type cone hat. The little man, as the source called him, was noticed standing beneath a Pinion tree as the observant was digging out a tree a few miles west of Walsenburg in Santa Clara Canyon. He related that he watched the little man for about ten minutes and then the little guy ran off through the brush as quick as a rabbit when a co-worker called out to him. As I said the informant is not only reliable but very secretive about his experiences, feeling they are of a religious nature being devote Catholic.

heres another tiny mummy found in 1932 in Wyoming, this one is 7 inches....however standing up it would be around a foot tall....

here is a pic of the x-ray...

heres a link Pedro, the mystery Mummy

"The prospectors carefully took their find to the huge town of Caspar, Wyoming where many prominent scientists, sure of a hoax, came from all over the US to have a look at it. Dr. Henry Shapiro, an anthropologist from the American Museum of Natural History set up extensive tests, assuming it would show some type of doll or pieced-together work of taxidermy. Instead the X-rays showed that "Pedro" had inside him a perfectly formed manlike skeleton with a complete set of human-like ribs. Also shown was a damaged spine, a broken collarbone and that the skull had been smashed by a heavy blow."

this mummy has disappeared....that seems to happen alot aye?

That is definately really really weird..can't wait to find out what they determine it is.

I don't know about Predator, but it looks like one of the demon snake things from BloodRayne.

But for some reason I can't stop think of Futurama when Fry eat's the professors thousand year old alien mummy.

The barking of five stray puppies shed had picked up some time earlier suddenly awakened Professor Liliana Romero Castillo. The puppies were living in the courtyard with her fierce mastiff. She looked through the window to see the back of what appeared to be an immense man, standing more than 6-feet 8 inches tall. The shoulder blades were split, as if he had wings. He appeared to be hunched over as if choking somebody.

After attempting to wake up her husband without success, she looked out the window again but the tall winged creature was gone. The next day some of the children found a dead dog in the alleyway. It appeared to have puncture marks on the throat area.
I do not believe this was El Chupacabra. First off El Chupacabra ain't that tall, he stands 3-5 feet tall not 6'8". Also it is often reported with El Chupacabra that all of the animals (including the victim) are put in a hypnotic state during it's feeding. I would like more info Gazrok if you have any. As you may well know I am extremely fascinated with the phenomena that is El Chupacabra and enjoy investigating supposed attacks.

Original Story
Tiny Humanoid Creature Found In Chile

Veterinarian Arturo Mann:

IT'S FINAL: "STRANGE CREATURE WAS A MARSUPIAL"

This is what a monito de monte (mountain monkey) looks like.

A specialist from the University of Santo Tomas stated that it is a
monito de monte, a small mammal that lives in the Valdivian
rainforest and hides during the day.

SANTIAGO, October 25: The mysterious creature which caused
expectation throughout Chile and which was even reputed to be
extraterrestrial in origin turned out to be a mammal known as Monito
de Monte (literally, mountain monkey). This was the statement made by
veterinarian and professor of the Univ. of Santo Tomas, Arturo Mann,
who subjected the specimen to analysis. The specialist, who was one
of the few scientists who had access to the specimen found by a
family in Concepcion, stated that--based on his knowledge and
publications--he can assure with a 90% certainty that the species is
terrestrial in origin.

"After a preliminary analysis and without seeing it in "macro"
fashion, I have concluded that it is earthly. In other words, a
little animal, a mammal that presents hair, nails, fingers. It is
earthly and even terrestrial, which is to say, it's not a flying
animal. It shows appendages suited to walking and even for digging,
with long nails. The body shows some damage, possibly from animal
predation or poor care [in the handling] of this little animal.

Terra.Cl: What is it, then?

"It is a small mammal, known as a micromammal, specifically a
marsupial and given the region it was found, would correspond with a
high degree of certainty to a "monito del monte". To reach the
conclusion that it is this "monito" or a marsupial, we are mainly
based in the fact that the anterior members present five fingers with
an opposable thumb. This means that the animal can grip branches
using its hand. That's why it's called "monito" (little monkey).

Terra.Cl: It is commonly found in the southern area of the country?

Not very commonly. It's a hard animal to find. Possibly these people
came across a moribund animal.

Terra.Cl: In this case, can we speak of a foetus or a newborn?

"It's a newborn, possibly weakened. Bear in mind that marsupials in
Chile hibernate during the winter. By not having any food, they go to
sleep in April or May, and in late August and September, they emerge
in a lethargic, weakened state to find food. This makes them more
vulnerable to attacks by other animals or to die from climactic
conditions."

I just googled "Monito de Monte" and came up with several pictures looking like this:

or this:

brainmuseum.org...

Also I found a pic of a Monito de Monte skull wich looks nothing like the above "tiny huminoid"

animaldiversity.ummz.umich.edu...$media.html

Your telling me that this thing is what they are passing off the above creature as? That is almost as insulting as swamp gas being blamed for UFO's, or Mice being blamed for cattle mutilation, or (last but not least) chickens being blamed for El Chupacabra. There is no way that that little thing is one of these marsupials, I mean just look at the skull structure!

Unless the snout was really shriveled it doesn't look much like the same creature.
