What amount of nudity can one list without getting in trouble

Topic started on 5-2-2006 @ 02:27 AM by goose

I found a website that shows the wounded from Iraq and the stories are horrendous, the website is done by an agency that formed to show the victim's plights of war. Well unfortunately the photos are very graphic and one shows a young man who was wounded in his genitalia and it shows a photo of that. I wish it did not from what I can see the rest don't show any nudity. Anyway can I get banned for listing the link, of course I would give a warning about the nudity on the website.

Hi goose, please use the gripe/idea feature to ask this question because it will get seen much quicker that way.

I wish I could give you an answer but that is something that must go to senior staff so please DO NOT post the link in question until speaking to one of them first.

Thanks for showing the concern to check first, it's appreciated!

I've been keeping an eye on this thread hoping the link would be posted because the web-site sounds interesting.

If it was posted in another thread, please let me know.
If not, could you send the link to my email using the button at the bottom of this post.

Thanks...........

We don't allow nudity, or pictures that are shocking in such a manner.

I'm pretty sure there is a rule written somewhere that covers that topic.

You are correct TC, from the T&C:

"3.) You will not post links to images or use avatars and signatures that are offensive, abusive, distruptive and/or hateful. You will not use avatars or link to images hosted on domains that contain pornography or illegal content.

4.) You will not use profanity in our forums, and will neither post with language or content that is obscene, sexually oriented, or sexually suggestive nor link to sites that contain such content. Images of or links to gratuitous gore and/or mutilation are strictly forbidden. This applies to material posted to collaborative fiction and member short story forums. You will also not select usernames that contain profanity.

I can say that I have seen the picture that the poster speaks of and there is nothing sexual or pornographic about it. The site is not one that should be posted though because it is full of gore, blood and suicides.
