Kinder Eggs

Just thought I would add a link for reference.

Wings,

It's always nice to have a link, source or reference.

The BBcode for links is:

As for the Kinder eggs, I wasn't sure if the post was addressing whether one is Kinder than the next ?!
Now I know ...

They would make great gifts, if only we could get the REAL ones here in the states.

I was thinking about eggs from chickens that were treated well.
But I know what your talking about now, I checked Google........

I've seen these in stores in Canada but I've never tried one.
I see they have little toys inside.

Kinder is a German cholate, and they make Kinder Surprise's which are cholate eggs with a capsal in side with a toy that you put to gether.
here a site
www.kindersurprise.com...
there not legal in the U.S. because the capsal is inbeded and has no purpose or something like that
Kinder has alot of other candies to.

I like them

I used to buy them by the case from Costco because my daughter and I liked them so much. I remember going through her toy bins there'd be so many little Kinder toy pieces.

They are tasty, and fun

In fact, I have a smashed one in my coat pocket right now. Thanks for reminding me

Kinder Eggs are the modern apotheosis of confectionery.

The chocolate is great, good even for German chocolate, which is saying something. And the toys are a welcome bonus, but those capsules are just so damn cool.

How I admire Germany... Einstein, genocide, and delicious chocolate.

Yes! I got like 5 of them when I went to Canada for vacation in the summer! They were good! And my toys were fun to play with *actually spent 30 minutes playing with the toys before attempting to burn them on the coffee maker*

I throw away the chocolate and put together the toy. I think Kinder Eggs chocolate tastes like crap.

Oh my god! Heathen! Kinder Eggs taste crap?!?! What's wrong with you?

I loved them as a kid, still do! My major gripe with them was there isn't enough of that gorgeous chocolate...milk chocolate on the outside and that lovely creamy chocolate coating on the inside...mmmm...

And then the task of opening up the capsule with the toy in, made even harder because you've been eating the chocolate with your fingers

They're not the best chocolate out in the market, but they are nice enough. I haven't had one in ages, has the chocolate got better in them. The wee toys are the best time waster, for a few seconds!

The toys in them are cool. I'm hoping for more Japanese robot toys in such snacks and candies. More gashopons now! And shiny stickers. These things are more popular in Axis countries for some reason. Probably we'll soon see things like videogame and movie trailers on tiny media cards as freebies.

I've got the coolest toys in the end table by end of the couch so I can take them out and play whenever I want.

When I was in germany I bought a whole case of Kinder Eggs from the commisary and ate them for christmas just so i culd get the little toys out, assemble them, and collect them.

When I left Germany I had half a dufflebag of those stupid things.
