What do you call the embroidery sailor's put under their cuffs?

There is a name for it. They would get embroidery done under the cuff of their shirts, signifying the places they've been. At work, the cuff would be down, so no one could see. But on shore leave, they would expose the cuffs and the designs. What is that called? Something something.

I thought I had heard them referred to as "liberty cuffs" - it was the first thing that popped into my head when I read your post.
