Okay. You are doing something wrong, but I'm not sure what exactly.

7Ayreon, maybe you could explain to evilgenyus a little better than I. Would you care to give it a shot?

I have a feeling that a7ryon.. (or whatever) is long gone. After all.. he's got his avatar already. I'll hope for the best though.

Okay, evilgenyus. exactly where are you getting the url from?

It has page references in it that should not be there.

Could it be that the percent symbol in the file name is causing a problem? If its what was saved try renaming the file without any symbols.

i know i will be contradicting myself, but you missed the original opportunity.

right click on "ats31181_you e_the_one.jpg"

go to properties.

copy that url.

should be very similar to my example shown earlier.

follow the next steps in instructions given earlier.

settings>edit profile>avatar url-paste url>

alright. I missed the "properties" earlier, I clicked on that, copied it, and pasted it in the appropriate place. guess we'll see if anything shows up now.... I don't know. it didn't seem too promising.

I think you have same problem as 7Ayreon had earlier.

Do you know how to post a picture here?

I'm wondering if filesize, or pixel dimensions are over maximum

Okay. I'm glad to hear you got it sorted out, well sort of.

Mechanic 32.

btw - was your other picture also an animated GIF? Might be that the filesize was too large.

no, the other pic wasn't animated. I assume it was just way too big or something.

What were the pixel dimensions.

It has to be 160 pixels wide, maximum x 320 pixels high, maximum.

And the filesize 75Kb or smaller.

What format was it in?

Jpg, and Gif are ok. BMP is not.
