For the longest time I've always be fascinated with animals suprisingly enough. Through the years I've came to have owned a few here and there. This topic here pretty much tests the knowledge skills of those people who also love animals. See if you know the breeds or types of animals these may be.

I want the kitty!! You can keep the dog, but I want the kitty!

The dog looks like either a husky or malamute.

The kitten looks like a Persian, although I've never seen a kitten Persian, only an adult and they look quite different when their older. The dog looks like a Siberian Husky. They're both very pretty. I love animals, even the muts!

Your correct Magestica ... the kitten on the top is a Persian and the dog the botton is a Husky. I too am more of a cat lover than dog. I guess it's because cats are so much more independent than dogs. Alot cleaner (or at least most of them) and best thing is that you don't have to get up early in the morning and walk them.

Anyone know what species of cat these are? Note: the second one and the last one are from the same breed.

The top looks like Scottish Fold.

The bottom, not so sure about.....Doesn't look big enough for Maine Coon.

You're pretty close though Zaphod ... the first one is a :

American Curl - Known for it's unusual ears, which are curled backward, the American Curl is a well-mannered cat that has an energetic, affectionate, gentle personality. This breed comes in both longhair and shorthair with varieties of many colors.

The other 2 are both Siberian Cats .... obviously one is a kitten and the other is full grown. I can see how you would say the botton one looks like a Maine Coon though. They do kinda look alike. Here's a Main Coon ~ very beautiful cat indeed:

Any ideas on what breed these animals are?

Hmmmmm ... I gotta agree with you on that one Yossarian ....It does look like a Samoyed....

Keeshonden are compact little animals with a strong resemblance to its ancestor the Samoyed, with oblique chestnut eyes, erect triangular ears, and its medium-length tail rolled on its back. It has a cream or pale gray undercoat and a luxurious outer coat that comes in shades of gray with black tips and stands away from the body. Its coat always appears to have just been washed and combed. The markings are quite definite and there are distinctive pale "spectacles" around the eyes.

YUP!

Otherwise known as Vizsla..(Veesh-la)
Hungarian pointer.

Which poses a problem for her.
The LAB half wants to retrieve something, the VIZSLA Half, wants to
stand there frozen, and just point to it..(which is what she mostly does)

Does anyone have any ideas about these pics?

*The bottom 3 kittens/cat are from the same breed* ~ Any ideas which breed they may be?

(Here's a clue for the bottom three ~ I know it'll be kinda hard to tell from the photos). See if this helps any.

American ******* are domestic cats and should not be confused with the American Bobcat (Lynx Rufus). This is a sturdy cat and is medium to large. American ******* have a rugged appearance with large, beautiful eyes. They have double coats and American ******* do require grooming to look their best. Highly intelligent, American ******* have close relationships with their families and do well in families with or without children and seem to enjoy the company of other pets.
