A new branch of scientific study claims that there is a link between the Temporal Lobes of the Brain and Humanity's acceptance of a God. Below are a Few links for more information on the subject.

Interesting, its important to remember that the origins of religion are based upon cultures which did not have the types of issues we have at present. Would sugest the links attached as material worth investigating in respect to the information already provided.
