I always thought of the USSR as having invested alot more effort in Mind control the the US. Sure the US had its programs like MK-Ultra but so did the
No matter how absurb a idea during the Cold War if one side discovered the other was investing money in a project the other side would too. The US
military trained dolphins for anti-diver weapons the USSR found out and guess what trained dolphins. The US went with the smaller faster 5.56 round
for the new M-16 service rifle and Soviets changed over to the 5.45 for thier AK-74 despite the objections of you could argue their best rifle maker
in the whole of the USSR Kalashnikov which was all for modern version of the 7.62 and not the 5.45. But the Soviets thought the Americans knew
something they didnt.
The stories that come out of Russia about mind control are alot more scary then anything in MK-Ultra IMHO
