The above poster states nothing would have been done about the war on terrorism.

The big question is: Has the current "war" really accomplished anything?

No one is paying attention about Afganistan where the puppet gov't set up by the US only actually rules the capitol city. The rest of the country is in disarray ruled by the warlords where lawlessness abounds. The people in these areas are now welcoming back the Taliban to settle things down. The Taliban now pretty much come and go as they please and are gaining strength. Meanwhile we are taking pot shots at mountain caves while Osama is drinking tea in someone's home.

In Iraq we have many from other nations crossing the borders to take pot shots and plant bombs in the road to kill or maim our boys.

Are we "winning" this war, going about it the wrong way, or what?

USMC,

Gores family is as much the establishment as is Bush's you should do some searching on this.

Gore was too desparate to be president frankly. It was real crowded in the house when Clinton was there,

Bill with his sex slaves, Hillary and Al all trying to be prez at the same time.

Higher taxes and therefore still in a recession or full blown depression, massive unemployment because of it, and many more planes and buildings destroyed by an enemy that would have been asked by the president to hold his hand and sing peace folk-songs. The world would love (and secretly think the U.S. is a putz) because he'd sell our citizenry out for the sake of his desired role in the Global Government. You'd wind up begging Gore to take a vacation, thereby getting the man out of the White House.
No, he would not be impeached (probably) as while he is wrong on issues, he is not a snake in the grass, devious, corrupt thief as Clinton was. Don't get that confused. Being wrong on issues is one thing, being a thief is an entirely different thing. With Gore, we wouldn't have rooms in our White House being rented out for a particular individual or party, wouldn't sell nuclear secrets for the same reasons, etc.

I full agree with this person.
maybe Gore instead of fight terrorists would let them have their freedom in US. Like Davis gave freedom to illegal immigrants in California!
