Former U.S. vice-president Al Gore has accused the oil industry of financially backing the Tories and their "ultra-conservative leader" to protect its stake in Alberta's lucrative oilsands.

Many may not be aware that the stories of big oil mistreating the "indians" of Venezuela that was a main point of the Chavez election was in fact an oil company that Gore owns. There were stories of environmental abuse, and brith defects, etc, caused by oil company abuse. That was the company owned by GORE.....
