I constantly get pop-ups telling me to install WinFixer 2006.

My PC seems fine to me, do I need it and when will these bloody pop-ups stop.. well, popping up and annoying me?! :bnghd:

If you have an adware remover such as the Microsoft Antispyware beta, update it and then run it on your system. It sounds like you have an adware program actively running on your system. You also may want to look into installing a pop-up blocker.

Thanks for the reply, Kenshiro.

I do have a pop-up blocker installed and running, not too sure about the antispyware software though. I'll check up on that. If not, I'll download it.

Even better than a mac: download a linux distro for free. You get the security, and you can't beat the price. With the newer versions, you don't even have to be an ubergeek to figure it out.
