Jesus said that if you ask for a sign it will never come, so don't try messing with things you don't understand. The spirit world is not to be taken litely.

I know my original guardian's name. Though, wouldn't tell others. Because there is power in a name.
He does happen to be an angel, though I do not believe angels to be the only type of guardian spirits. (Not to rain on anyone's parade. Just stating my own beliefs?)

I've never actually seen an angel though. I can't really "see" that well. Which is just unfortunate.

But it's cool that you have seen angels.
My mother really loved angles and I suspect she had seen them several times during her life.
Not that she would say anything. You can't really talk about these things to others without being sent to a nut-house.

I had pneumonia January 2001, After three hours of waiting to be seen at the urgent clinic on a Sunday morning and going through their tests and getting home I laid down backwards on the bed in the sunlight, I thought I could hear many angels singing in my head. Of course I was delusional with fever and worried I would die.

I should have had my husband drive me to the hospital and checked myself in. I had two very little kids at the time and getting through the next month quitely was tough. I often sat there and they acted up. We ate alot of peanut butter and jelly sandwhiches. Not one of my realitives bothered to show up and help. Not my mother or mother in law bothered to come help. I always remember this when they try to guilt me into helping with their problems. We lived ten hours away. Ladies, if you get sick make your husbands take you to the hopsital and deal with the kids. Being a myarter might be your end. If you can't breathe you are dead.

Hi angel I believe that we all have guardian angels I just have never experienced mine. I mean my life has never been life threatening but it has been rough for some one of my age I'm nineteen and I've experienced death, parents who don't think good of me in fact my mom kicked me out because I didn't get along with her yes some of it was me being a dumb teen but she has always been like that since I was little but the worst thing in my life that happend to me was when my papa, aka my grandfather died I was 14 and it happend almost five years ago he was 56 when he died every day since then my heart breaks and I feel as if no one is willing to help I've asked god and angels to help me get through it and help me to move on but I havnt gotten any sign my grandfather was the only person in my family to really understand me and when he died my world ended I just don't see how my guardian angel hasn't helped when I have asked I feel alone most of the time I wish though that I would just get some sign as to say hey I'm here but I don't get that

One's guardian angel is his/her own self. The spirit inhabiting the body is the master. body is the vessel which connects to the spirit via the mind as a communication channel.

you can think of it as your spirit being you sitting on your couch playing a 3rd person videogame. while the body is the character in the game given the tools to navigate within that environment. The commands the spirit can send to the character is limited by the controlpad or communication connection.

e.g - a control pad with 3 buttons vs one with 6 buttons vs one with 6 buttons and autofire and macros

One can be a player. Or can be a programmer
A player will have a controlpad. A programmer would use an alternative communication connection and could optionally send commands directly to the CPU. allowing the programmer to make the character do things that no control pad can do.

Players(flesh or on-screen) are generally slaves. slaves to themselves as they are imprisoned by the flesh and cannot recognize their full nature and potential. It suggests a level of indifference to their spirit. thus appears as them giving of permission to others to manipulate their mind and thus their actions since they do not seem to care either way. It is submission to the flesh being controlled by any other being. It is very much like having played with 3d virtual reality goggle for so long that one forgets about the outside world and may even begin to interpret the virtual world as real. where death in the game results in death in real life as well since the mind has been hijacked with a false reality. When certain conditions are met a spirit will leave the body. this decision comes from the mind connection interpreting it's perceived environment as somehow unsustainable for the host or in another case, ideal for the spirit to stand without the body. This transaction occurs faster than light and always before the body ceases to function as no physical object can harm the spirit, just as no bullets from the video game can leave the screen and injure the player on the couch.

It is very possible to see that one may be led or manipulated into strangling and killing their own spirit upon death however. and thus.. not experience the "after life" as it's generally called, but which goes on presently! One can be so entangled in the world of the material realm that their mind is convinced that the spirit does not exist and it is only body and mind that exist and all ends with physical death. Thus one's belief system can save them from this prison of flesh but it must be a belief that superseeds the flesh.

However, one who recognizes their spirit, will be rebellious to all forms of manipulation as they defend their mind from being forced into doing something they do not wish to partake of. They will have no fear of any physical harm or even death as they will know their spiritual eyes are open always and the body is only a vessel to their true being. They will make decisions on their own grounds, recognizing that all actions and their consequences are theirs and only theirs to bare. thus no man should have instruct over them. It boils down to whether they choose to assist or not in any endeavour.

but do not be misled. Just as a caterpillar will know when it achieves it's wings and becomes a butterfly. you will know when you have reached this awareness. there will be no doubt and it is very much separate of delusion as many fanatics may conclude to themselves to have achieved it when in fact they have achieved nothing.

but alas a few things are true - the white pure light of divinity, the appearance of an angel or angels and an experience of the living force of nature are key elements that make these up. and i again stress that they are in no way imaginary or fictional aspects of our existence.

I don't think I have an angel. I have called out, but never have I been answered. I've asked several times for the name of any such being, but again, no answer.

It's actually kind of depressing. The past few years, I've been getting this increasing feeling that I'm all alone in the world, no matter what I do. That there's no one and nothing protecting or watching over me. It's a huge bummer... Maybe I've been abandoned...?

Since this thread has been resurrected I will share something I usually don't talk about, frankly because I know it sounds crazy. This is the short version of course.

I met a being that I believe to be my spirit guide so to speak, through a few dreams. I was in a stage of spiritual curiosity and meditation after deciding that Christianity wasn't for me (no disrespect to those who are Christian) and I think she was either pushing me to learn more or it was just time that her presence was revealed to me. She never spoke to me in the dreams, she would just smile at me like saying "I'm here for you" and I would always have an intense feeling of love. She was not like my other dream characters. In one dream she appeared with two other women, one was older and identified herself as the "All-Mother," I don't remember ever coming across that term before.

I also believe I met her again through meditation (it took many attempts) and it was then that she revealed her name to me. I was having trouble staying in the right state of mind and asked her to pull me out of my body and she did, I don't think it was an actual OBE but we used the idea as a tool for concentration is the way I interpreted it. Then she told me through a vision that we knew each other from a previous life. I'm not sure how I feel about reincarnation but that is what I was shown. I asked if my life was on the right track and she smiled and basically told me that I wasn't doing anything wrong and that I should do what makes me happy. The conversations were not "verbal," but more like telepathy.

Its hard to judge how much of it was real, I'll forever be skeptical about it as my nature dictates, but it was a powerful experience that I have shared with very few.

The current world population is approx 7 billion ... so does that mean there are AT LEAST 7 billion "guardian angels" ? Or are some angels required to "moonlight" and "guard" multiple people ? Hope they're compensated !

Once a person dies, does their "guardian angel" get recycled and become a new-born's "guardian angel" ?


Hmmmm ... don't bother replying as (1) I'm being facetious and (2) no such thing as "angels".

Do non-christians (e.g. Hindu's, Muslims, etc) get a "guardian angel" of their own as well ?
Heaven must be a VERY crowded place by now !

Interesting. I've had guardian angels save my life many times over the years. I'll have to give it a try to see who their names are, since there must be more than one to have saved me so many times.

Hi guys i wonder if you can shed some light on my situation as right noww i'm totally lost and i dont know wat to do! Since i was 10 i believed in angels and over the years i learnt how to talk to them, but since 2years ago I've been having major problems on questioning what i was hearing and where or not i was just talking to myself or imagining things as the way i comunicated with angels was mentally and i would not physically hear them talkkin to me, it would always come through as a voice inside my head, sometimes different and sometimes like my own. I have stopped communicating with them for a while now and since then strange things have happended i.e. I keep hearing (Physically) high pitched sounds which sounds like white noise and tv fuzz in one or both ears and sometimes pressure changes. last year i heard that and then something that sounded like a whisper following the noise like there was someone leaning in from behind me and whispering in my ear, I was super freaked out! and that never happend again. but i still experience that ear thing. Whats happening!?

I'll tell you a true story about an angel, and the medical teal who saw it. I might have mentioned it in another thread, but didn't go into detail.
A family member started having issues, so they were rushed, by ambulance, to a local hospital where they determined that there was a major stomach aneurysm, and rushed this person to another hospital who specialises in this condition.

The surgeon said that my family member will die on the table, no hope, whatsoever. He's done hundreds of these surgeries, so, he'd know. So we said our goodbye's, and into surgery they went, me thinking that I would never see them on this earth again. Me, my wife, my kids, and other family members were devastated.

Four hours later, the surgical team entered the waiting room. They had this glow to them and everyone noticed it. It's kind of hard to explain, really, but it was there. They were glowing. They were also smiling and very upbeat. We were confused for a second because just four hours earlier, we were given a definite prognosis of sure death, but yet, here this team is, happy, celebrating. I was like '?'.

The surgeon said that everything went excellent and that things look really good. He said that he has never been able to clamp certain areas any less than 30 minutes, but was able to do it in twelve. He said it was like he was being helped.
The other Dr. confirmed it. He said it was weird. The surgeon then said something that raised every eyebrow in the room. He said that something paranormal happened in that room. There was a faint glow eminating from the corner. They felt a presence. He said either god was there, or a gaurdian angel was there, and probably the latter, but whatever it was, it was real. They witnessed it.

Now this is an educated man, a scientific mind, who admitted to me that he did not believe in god, but he cannot explain this other than to say it was paranormal. I was stunned. His team were sure of what they saw. I asked the nurses afterwards and they said there was some kind of presence in that room with them and that they never witnessed anything like it before. She said it was in the corner and that they kept looking at it but noone went near it because they were involved in this delicate/dangerous surgery, but they kept raising their heads, to look at it.

Now, about four months later, my family member is in good shape. She said that she did meet god there. He told her it was not her time yet. We were all blown away by this experience. I think the surgeon, and some on his team, were probably the most affected by it.
