The 8 weird things in this pic

Topic started on 24-1-2006 @ 12:37 AM by lnxsys

I saw this in one website about Moon Landing, what u think? Good points?

external image

1. The 3 different shadow positions (antena, flag, astronaut)

2. The flag should not be "flying" cuz there is no wind

3. There are a lot of twilights (moon dont have atmosphere)

4. There are a lof of footprint (moon dont have humity)

5. There are no stars in the sky. Should we see only a little one?

6. In the ground, below the Lunar Module, there arent signs of the land.

7. An amazing US astronaut would land just beside a crater?

8. Look the "+"s in the picture, they are distorted. This NASA pic is manipulated?

Possible reasons..

1. caused by a rear light for the image to be taken clearly.

2. flag is drooping (may also have a wire to appear flying.. looks good fo the photo)

3. there is no twilight

4. the footprints will remain for many years as there is no wind to blow them away.. humitidy plays no part in this. link

5.The lunar photographs show no stars in them because they were exposed for the daylight lit lunar scenes! This badly underexposes any stars in the sky.

6.what would you expect to see in relation to signs of landing.. dust in place of where other dust should be?

7. Would be more concerned if he landed in the crater. It was a sucessful landing.

8.Reason for misalighned crosshairs
