Thank you all for your comments and the beautiful songs. The surgery is behind Springer, but he's got a real painful time ahead of him. Thoughts and prayers will be greatly appreciated.

He's in my thoughts and prayers! Lots of positive vibes going out there for him.

I really wish I had a way to sing for him and I would! (not that he'd enjoy it as much as Parr and BH, but it's the thought that counts, right?
)

Thanks for the update Val you're both in my prayers

Just a few comments and best wishes for an expedient recovery. Oh, and a bit of a rant on consumer product instructions. Get well Springer!

OMGOSH! The pressure!

Springer deserves a song, but it took me an entire weekend for my lame attempt for WOS and I don't even have a weekend to spare.

If you don't get a song out of me Springer, (which might actually be a good thing) please know my thoughts are with you (and Val for that matter - nothing worse than having an ailing man in the house - oops).

Hang in there, feel better and take it easy!

P.S. I really think as soon as Springer is ready to return would be the perfect time for the 3rd Amigo to make an appearance with the 2 out of 3 Amigo's in honor of Springers return. Just a thought.

I'm happy that Springer made it thru the surgery ok. He's still in my prayers for a full and quick recovery.

Love and light my friends,

Wupy

To the one with the name strange name: Played one to what? Huh?

I did exactly what Parr said to do, and if Parr said to do it, it is right, and that settles it!

TC and Parr-Outstanding!

Now can you two pair up and do the GWBush and Condoleesa "who's on first" routine? I've got a copy I could lend you
and you've got the perfect voices! It would be my contribution since I can't podcast!

That was great TC and Parr

I'll pick up a bottle of wine today and see if I can belt out something tonight.....

I'll have to make sure Val got his pain meds first

Springer I am thinking of you and praying for a smooth recovery. You've

been such a great friend to WOS (and his family!) and I just hate that

you're suffering. One day at a time! Everyone is thinking of you and

wishing you the best!

Your Name In Lights

Man, I wanted to get a “produced” song out earlier for Springstock, but between the Serpo and the problems I've been having with some of my new avant garde software (that sounds awesome when it's not busy crashing), it's been slow going.

So last night I said “screw it”, decided to get back to basics and whipped out a single-session effort.

Thus was born Your Name In Lights.

It's actually a song I plan to put on my Mindwar album (the theme is information warfare and mind control), which is, ironically enough, about three or four albums up the stack, but oh well. I felt like doing something percussive.

I wanted to dedicate the song Green Light off my upcoming Roxxor album to the Springinator, but that's going to have to come as production allows.

Solution: I'll just dedicate both songs to him.

Because I'm such a kiss-ass.

Anyway, I wanted to put the song in its own podthread for criticism, etc., but here's the link to it:

BTS.music: Majic: Your Name In Lights

So yeah, it's a bit belated, and a pretty freaky tune at that, but I'm glad this song's arrival already sees the Springmeister already back and terrorizing ATS as only he can.

It's good to have you back, man.

P.S. The song is dedicated to Springer, but I hope it's obvious that it's not about him. That is, unless there's something I ought to know...
