I think I am getting adopted . . . I'm so happy

well, you can always u2u questions to anyone on the staff but, if you want adoption, I'm open for it. Don't flood this thread with questions, send em to me via u2u or, if I am not around, post in the Board Business and Questions thread or use the complaint button.

I posted an interest in being adopted and linked it to my intro, too. I guess that I was just worried about coming off as pushy if I started begging people to adopt me. That, and I only just recently got enough posts to be able to send u2u's!

I haven't posted a lot because there is so much to read here and I think that I am learning far more by reading still than just making uneducated posts that add no value. That is part of the reason that I am interested in being adopted. There is so much knowledge and I would definitely enjoy having someone to chat with who has been around longer and has had more time spent learning and could help point me into areas where I will be more likely to learn more.

I swear I'm done rambling all over this thread now, too! Sorry.

I don't remember what happened to the other people I adopted. They went off on their own I guess.

just to update my (begging) i have happily been tucked into the warm embrace of the mighty Dark Lord Sauron.... ahhh the feeling of security...i shall never run away again..lol but seriously.. I thank you Sauron for attempting to show me the many various levels on ats/bts/aps... and for putting up with my constant questions...

Ummm...is the adoption process still open for 2008?

I'm a total newbie. I'm not even close to being as well educated or as well read as the majority of posters on this site but I promise to be a well behaved adoptee. Any takers? (how pathetic am I?)

do ya think ya could take on one more? I have been here a lil over a month and have received some great help from fellow members, but some things have come up that prove to me that I really need some fine tuning. I understand if you have already taken on too much.
If so, I would appreciate if someone else of long standing here would take me under their wing. I have so many questions!

Just wanted to add that my reasons for choosing you are many. When I first arrived you greeted me warmly and posted a beautiful pic on my profile page.
I read somewhere that you were once a Mod. I also read that you were once banned (sorry). So with this track record, you truly have to have a lot to offer. You also have a unique way of projecting warmth in your comments. That would make me feel comfortable with you. Thanx. Sizzle
