Like i said previously, i'll adopt someone if u just let me know!

I'm a born again Newbie, it's been about 2 years since i've been around and i don't recognize anyone. the place has really grown.

Hello everyone, Ultra newbie here from inner city chicago. just saying hi.

Hey there! O.k., here's the scoop...long term 'net addict here, veteran of many other message boards, but never seen one quite like this before!

Proficient with basic html, but I've never yet tried the BB code (although I take that it's fairly easy).

I love to be given "assignments" to track down solid info or find out of the way photos and such. If not given direction, I tend to use my powers for evil rather than good...

I tend to cuss like a sailor (which I can see is a no-no here, so will tone it down) and like to oggle obscene pics, but I am a wife and mother.

I used to run seti@home on my old computer, never loaded it up on this one though, yet.

So, anyone want to try to take me on as your adopted pet newbie?

I could use some help here. I am really new.

I am one of those people who likes to figure things out on thier own, but I dont want any faux pas. I could really use some help from someone who could give me advice on the technical stuff here. I am usually a very fact oriented person and I like researching issues before I post to threads.

I have space for a couple of new members. A few things though, no slight to the member that posted before but I'm not a techie, but I know one or two.

intrepid, I would be greatful to take some advice from you. I like your "I Love Canada" sticker. I'm not from there, but by brother is so I like to keep an open mind. If your willing to give me some guidance I would listen.

I'm almost scared to ask what Pineapple U is, or where? Hope it isn't in Sponge Bob territory.
