Apart from all the usual pros of being adopted, can i get backup from my parent when i am having an arguement with somebody no matter how much my adopter disagrees with me? Will they be there for me through thick and thin?

I just stumbled onto this site about 2 weeks ago, and can't keep from looking at it everyday...all the topics here are right down my alley.

A little bit about myself; 27, Female in the Midwest...have a PhD in a molecular biology...perhaps my beliefs in paranormal phenomenon and extraterrestrial existance are a unorthodox for my field of study, but then again, I have always liked to think "outside of the box"

Having only recently discovered this site I've been busy reading many of the posts, but feel I'd like to connect with someone if they've got the time. So much info, so little time!

I'm 49 and from podunk, end of world, Indiana. My interests run from scifi/fantasy/horror, movies, reading, family, kitties, conspiracy theories, anything unusual currently going on in this old world.

I really don't about this adoption thingy .....

I mean most of the control freaks that try corralling me get quite pissed about my unpredictable nature. ie ex girlfriends or wanna be ones

I mean I'm pretty much at a stage 5 of development according to Jung

but I might be interested in a real hot extended care nurse that wakes me when
I fall asleep while posting.

I am kinda new to the site but, when i do things like try remote viewing test on the web I'm smart enuff to guess one to the right the first time, then do it right the second. Oh well I still made the top ten... at least I didn't get that knock at the door,get whisked away and hooked up to a machine or anything...

A positive,encouraging Sage of some sort would be nice.....

I did post a thread in the new memebers bit. Not sure if i was meant to.

I'd like to be adopted, I have lots of questions and would like to know lots about things I don't have questions about aswell.

I joined because I feel I need some answers for things that have been happening and hoped maybe I could get some here.

I always want to know more about everything though so even if there are no answers to my questions i'd like to know about other things.

I'm a quick learner so only have a few questions left unanswered but it would be kinda cool to have a mentor type person to advise me on my postings lol
