I hate Win XP home

What a heap crap !
Its nearly impossible to diagnose performance related issue unless you want to stare at task manager for hours on end. I was backing up data on a XP home machine and I got an error message when. So to view the NTFS I had to boot into safe mode or use a command line tool.

Its like the NTFS permissons were an after thought in XP home !
XP home is nothing more then a NTFS version of Win 98.
I should start a charity that raises money for people that cant afford to upgrade from Xp home to XP Pro.

Its probably faulty software, accidents do happen sometimes in the computer world. Just like the 360, for some it was faulty and for others it was fine

One more thing to add, did you ever check for compatability? That can be the main reason why your computer is going crazy. A compatability issue happened to me with my compaq once, I put windows XP home on it and it all went to heck.
