Whittle patented the idea in 1930 and went to the RAF didnt believe it would work, if it wasnt for the war it would never have been produced at all

No offence intended as I'm sure it took a lot of skill and brains to get that thing working, but isnt it just a radio controlled helecopter with a cover on it?
