The Defense Department is funding new firm PixelOptics of Roanoke, VA, to develope glasses that allow a person to have SuperVision, the person would be able to see near, far, and in between all in great clarity, also helps out when you turn your head quick and you get momentarily blurryness, this will reduce that as well.

New firm PixelOptics of Roanoke, VA has announced that it will receive $3.5 million from the Defense Department to develop "SuperVision," a technology that may improve the vision of US soldiers beyond 20/20 via electro-active prescription lenses. The technology uses sensors and electro-active transparent material to alter the index of refraction of the lens dynamically, without any moving parts.

to allow human eyes to see better than 20/20, perhaps as well as 20/08.

I think this is great...Who doesn't want better vision.
I personally wear contacts...So I hope in the future they have this for contect wearers as well.
