New G3 compatible phones might be making you and everyone around you sick... phone signals cause headache, nausea... and you thought it was just the bad quarter pounder you had at lunch....

I am pretty sure that the radiation from a cheap microwave oven is probobly 10 times greater. I haven't gotten any headaches from cooking lately. (except when i burn the muffins, but that is another story)

I read another article the other day that confirmed a presence of albumin in the outer lining of the brain in rats...after just one phone call. The evidence was clear. The rats who drove while talking had more wreaks...oh wait. The rats who were exposed had spots of staining on the outer lining after vivisection. What the scientists theorized was, that this will cause an entire generation of prematurely senile people. After only a few years of use the damage should be visible. I am paraphrasing of course. I think anyone who uses a cellphone should invest in an obnoxious headset, I am, so then everyone can think we are crazy ...just muttering to ourselves. And it isn't the waves, it is the frequency. The tibetian buddists knew the power of a frequency. So while microwaves just fry our brain on low...maybe another frequency will jiffy pop it.

at my high school 3 out of 5 have cellphones

if this is true, then umm human race is in trouble!

i just read the article again and noticed that this wasn't even considering the phone signal. It was just from the base station. That means we don't even have to use the damn things to be zonked. G3 is already making me nervous...and if they start doing full color highspeed porn(previous thread) on them...The market will take off. There will be base stations in every semi populous city and highway of america. We will be constantly under the effect. I think i understand why so many ATS members are in Canada.

I think more people have microwave ovens than cell phones... Plus all the work places with microwaves! Its all a conspiracy Im tellin ya...

Damn that's weird, because I've noticed that whenever I'm on the phone for a while, I begin to get a nechache. I just thought it was maybe cause my head was tilted for so damn long, possibly a combination of that too?

English translation of the original Dutch press communique by the Ministry of Economical Affairs:

"The research conducted by TNO shows that electromagnetic fields that are similar to those emitted by UMTS-antennas can have effects on the welbeing of humans(i.e. dizzyness, sensations). The research also shows that there is a statistically significant relation between the electromagnetic fields that are similar to those emitted by UMTS and GSM antennas and the cognitive functioning of the brain(speed of reaction, alertness, memory). For the latter effect, an improvement of ability is observed."

the neck position is absolutely the problem. I read that holding a tiny cell phone in that position for any length of time constricts your neck muscles more than they're meant to be. it's best to either not hold it like that or just invest in a hands-free headset.

also, this article doesn't refer to current cell phones in the US. G3 has yet to be widely implemented anywhere but Asia. NTT's (Japan) spiffy i-mode service is a G3 service if I remember correctly. the obvious answer to this question would be to study Japanese cell phone users and find out if they've experienced any damage to their brains from extended cell phone use.

Yes, this is very true. I got a bit paranoid about this a while ago, so I bought one of those things that supposedly reduces the amount of radiation from the phone. Surprisingly, it doesn't interfere at all with teh signal. It's basically just a little silver mettalic sticker that you put on the earphone part of your phone, because most of the radiation comes from the earpiece.

The Stealth Radar ShieldTM is a unique device developed using advanced radar-absorbing and stealth technology once reserved only for the United States Department of Defense. This same technology is used in the patented Stealth Radar Shield device, creating an advanced phone radiation defense. It actually absorbs radiation emitting from the earpiece areas of wireless phones, and as a result, reduces that radiation up to 98%.

Yes, that's right. DoD materials in my cell phone. The same stuff they use on the F-117 and B-2.

It also works for cordless phones at home too. they also emit lots of radiation, but not as much as cell phones because they already have a base station near by.

Here's a ton of info about radiation from phones.

Don't forget cordless phones connected to your landlines in your home either.

The new 2.4 GHZ phones are in the range of cell phones now as far as frequency goes.

I still use my old Sony Cordless in the 300 MHZ range. It works okay as long as I don't go too far from the base. Okay for me.

I only sparingly use my cell phone as I know about RF radiation.

My prior career was as a signals and radio technician so I know about RF.

Trust me limit your exposure to it just like you would anything else that is dangerous.

Except spending hours typing into your computer posting at ATS which I would never overdo.

LOL!

Your computer also causes radiation, but must of it comes from your monitor, especially the older and bigger ones. Flat screen monitors don't emit as much radiation as the older ones do.

My mom makes me turn off my comp at night because it's in my room and she thinks that it produces radiation. Is this true? I turn the monitor of, but I leave the comp itself running to do SETI. I don't think the CPU produces radiation, does it?

Yeah it does.

And there is a rule with radiation it is the inverse of the square of the distance in effect. Gee hope that is right.

r=1/d^2 or something like that.

Meaning the farther away you go the faster the signal drops.

The radiation of the monitor is different than that of the processor clocks etc. It is electron smashing so it is very high frequency but low energy.

Just turn your monitor off if you don't use your computer and leave the cpu running.

Saves energy too. The monitor uses about the same amount of energy as the cpu board. Actually many newer monitors have a cpu in them but I guess it is only 8 bit?

I heard that along time ago that phone frequencies can make you sick. I have also heard that you shouldnt pump gas while talking on the phone as the radio waves may ignite the gas fumes...

who knows?

One time I actually microwaved myself...stuck my hand into a microwave that was still running due to the safety not working correctly. Felt as if my hand fell asleep....and I get the same sensation from talking on my cell phone...but the feeling is my ear and brain box. No biggie....hardly use the cell phone anyways.

Hmm, it's interesting THENEO. Thanks for the info.

Don't use cell phones while pumping gas, it may cause a spark, which can ignite the fumes. Actually, it's sort of an urban legend, so no on reeally knows for sure, but it's better to be safe than sorry. Alot of gas stations put stickers on the pumps saying not to use our phones, so it's better to listen to them.

home.freeuk.com...

Also, DO NOT try to microwave yourself. It's extremely dangerous, and can cause bery bad things to happen. What a microwave does is that it causes the water molecules to cook, which is what heats up the food. Now if you put a part of yourself in, and us humans are composed mostly of water, you can imagine what happens. Some kids have tried to see what happens if they put their pet frogs in, and guess what? They explode!

LMAO Saucerat

thats is wrong,

the tv show on discovery that airs on 9pm fridday tested that to hell and back, theres NO WAY to blow up ANYTHING with a cell phone,

unless the battery explodes

and yes, dont microwave your self ...

Apparently cordless phones are worse than mobile phones in this repect, as your nearer to the 'boosting' source, thus the 'brain frying' signal is far stronger.
