BH, I respect your right to say whatever you want. Seems as soon a person says Christmas and Christ in the same sentence everything else they say goes right out the window. I'm on some gimmick kick or something. I want the world to bow down and recognize Christ. When, I also said it was a personal thing for me to keep Christ in my Christmas and to not let anyone water that meaning down. Just as when you say "there was never Christ in Christmas". That is your personal opinion--not a gimmick. Though I disagree I don't knock you for admitting that you don't want Christ in Christmas, but those of us that do have a right to it, and not to be shout down just because we do. That is the exact sentiment that causes Christians like myself to say it is an attack. You get attacked just for saying you are Christian or sharing your beliefs now-a-days.

(No wonder I stay out of this debate) sheesh! I will not argue over my beliefs though so ... I will leave it there.

For me, it is the assumption that I want to "convert the world to christianity" that is offensive...that is the attack. I thought you had a knee jerk reaction to the phrase Christ in Christmas, and that is why I attempted to explain myself...very poorly it seems. Though I stated throughout my podcast that it was a personal belief, your podcast had everything to do with Christians force feeding their beliefs which is something I am not a part of and would never be. Religion is a personal thing whether you choose to believe or not.

My statement "I want the world to bow down to Christ" was sarcasm in a way. So it's funny that you address it, because this is the way everyone thinks I believe just because I say Christ should stay in Christmas. Just saying you are Christian has a negative connotation to many people, and that causes an attack of sorts just through misunderstanding. I think we have a slight misunderstanding, and I am not angry at you at all or anyone for that matter and I'm sorry if it came off that way. Like I said I respect your opinions and your right to have them.

Hope that's clear...oh well.

I hope that that one actually goes through into the feed, buggered if I know what happened to the other one. Listening to all the podcasts from #7-21 now, so forming up probably about 20 mintues worth of replies, and gonna throw in heaps of my own stuff in there, too.. so get ready for YET ANOTHER long podcast from nrky.

EDIT: Been waiting a few hours for the other one to be added to the feed so far... Can't post the next one without this one having gone through... damn this is annoying.

Nrky, I listened to this back on page one days ago. It's been up for a while.

And get busy making those posts!

Ya, it's been in this forum for a while now, however it's not showing up on the feed in iTunes, as though an admin hadn't reviewed it. Podcast reply #7 overwrote my #7, meaning that it hadn't been added to the feed yet. I re-upped it in case it was nullified by there being another #7, but it seems as though the podmods have gone walkies. Thankfully I'm up to 202 posts now, so they will go through straight away.

EDIT: Skeptic Overlord fixed everything for me, the pod mods seem to have gone on holidays or something.
