I've been convicted of murder, of being a drug kingpin, and of failing to register as a foreign agent. Yet in each case, the verdict was overturned
on a small technicality by the Supreme Court.
I think I've been in a courtroom twice, but in the audience. Mitsubishi was trying to build a sand and gravel mine in our area and everyone in the
area managed to force them to leave.
For an actual rant, I do in fact have one that came from those visits. I was wearing a hat when I entered the courtroom and the bailiff forced me to
take it off in the presence of the judge. This happened ten years ago or more and it still annoys me.
