I think the rumour posted in the OP is nonsense. I see no reason why black violence against whites would increase after the death of Mandela, and I certainly don't believe the black population will respond with an ethnic cleansing operation.

Black-on-white violence is already high, and Mandela has been powerless to reduce or prevent it, so his death isn't going to make any difference.

I happened to work with a number of Australians in UNTAG, the United Nations Transition Assistance Group, when Namibia became independent, they were more racist than any white South African or Namibian that I know of! One actually said to me "You people did it wrong, you should have just killed them with alchohol like we are doing!"

So you met a bunch of racist Australians. That's unfortunate, but how is it relevant to anything I've said?

How many more threads are you going to add your hate to while not adding anything noteworthy?

What 'hate'? I'm simply pointing out that the Boers have reaped what they sowed. For more than a century they abused black Africans and treated them like animals. Now the tables have turned.

Yep the time is at hand. Like Gemwolf said, it is highly unlikely that any genocide will take place or a civil war. With Mandelas death the ANC will also effectively win the elections next year by a landslide. Where instead of polarising the whites and blacks the ANC will just demand votes because of Mandela.

Anyway, finally a conspiracy theory where we can get some sort of disclosure very soon. Mandela is already on life support waiting for Graca to come pull the plug.

Very interesting stuff. Well put together, thanks for he read. I had never heard about this before today, strangely it reminds me of another thread about blacks in the US being more racist than whites. Anyways, this is an old thread so I'll leave it at that. S&F for OP, thanks again.

STOCKHOLM, Sweden – The eyes of the world were on South Africa two decades ago as the apartheid era came to an end and Western governments helped bring the communist-backed African National Congress to power.



Last month, however, when Genocide Watch chief Gregory Stanton declared that white South African farmers were facing a genocidal onslaught and that communist forces were taking over the nation, virtually nobody noticed.

Few outside of South Africa paid attention either when, earlier this year, the president of South Africa began publicly singing songs advocating the murder of whites.

The silence is so deafening that Secretary of State Hillary Clinton didn’t even publicly mention the problems when she was there last week. Instead, she was busy dancing, pledging billions of dollars and praising the ruling government.

It is all part of a vicious campaign of dehumanization aimed at whites, according to experts. Demonizing the victims always precedes genocide.

Known as Boers or Afrikaners, the descendants of Northern Europeans, mostly Dutch, arrived in Southern Africa hundreds of years ago, in some cases as far back as the 1600s. Still, racists refer to them as “settlers,” implying they do not belong there.

“Whenever you have that kind of dehumanization,” Stanton explained, “you have the beginning of that downward spiral into genocide.”

The National Socialists (Nazis) did it in Germany, and the Islamists did it in Turkey before exterminating Armenian Christians, he added.

The government, meanwhile, has already launched a campaign to disarm Afrikaner farmers. As Genocide Watch observed in a recent report on South Africa, disarmament of the target group is one of the surest warning signs of impending genocide.

Whites have not been the only victims. Even before apartheid was dismantled, the ANC was notoriously brutal to its opponents, using some of the most barbaric tactics imaginable even against blacks who refused to bow down.

Even if a Rwanda-style massacre does not occur,the SA whites number very few.With the farm killings and the thousands of white people murdered during criminal acts like hi-jackings,armed robberies,home invaions+burglaries while the occupants were home,in the last 20 years-i who live here can well see that a genocide can happen in slow-motion too.If a population of say,25 million,keeps chipping away at a population of 3-4 million,you do the maths,you know?

How woefully incorrect this is.

Apart from it being historically inaccurate, if South Africa "belonged" to anyone it was the Hottentots and Bushmen. Neither black nor white who were both foreign interlopers.

The reality is that under apartheid, South Africa was flourishing. And much like history, apartheid has been blown well out of porportion for political gain. In fact, it was thanks to apartheid that various African fractions didn't go to war and cause countless deaths.

Since 1994, countless white Afrikaners have been killed through racially motivated crimes. White women and children have been tortured and raped as their husbands and fathers lay dying unable to do anything. Even the police have joined in on such vile acts of hatred.

I'm not saying apartheid was right, but neither is killing people for revenge. These people had nothing to do with apartheid other than being there as farmers providing food for white and black families.

But who cares right? These are white people after all. The whites in Africa are one minority it's politically correct to hate.

Want sources? I'm sure the majority of you are able to use Google or to visit your library.

As a European American, I can sympathize with the fears European Soith Africans. These are not unwarranted, as we can all see, systematically; many Europeans in ZA are being killed, tortured, etc everyday.

Where is the international community helping our brethren? Where are the foreign leaders saying [I]"Let's help these people, this should not be tolerated."[/I] I am glad that Genocide Watch is standing up for these people.

Sure some of the facts in the article may be wrong, but this is not the point. No one, not one human should be killed, especially because of their race. Genocide should never be committed, against anyone.

When you have a situation where the Prime Minister of a nation singing a song advocating killing a major ethnic group in their nation (in this case, "Kill The Boer"), things have come to a tipping point. Things have come to a point where we either stand up, and say this is wrong, or we stand by and let the genocide begin.

Genocide doesn't have to come quickly, it can be over decades and decades, even over centuries, but it is still genocide.

We the international community needs to intervene, and needs to do something.

You joined ATS, immediately pulled up this thread you somehow seemed or implied you knew about, and are pushing the thread without even a word of "Hi, I'm new here guys, and since I lurked here years ago I recalled this thread..." This is one of those times, if I were a mod, I'd actually censor something and close it for awhile. Maybe a few months. Not the time for a noob to be pushing rumors of (and hopefully not advocating) a race war.

I thought this thread may be bumped... It's been almost 8 years since I originally authored the opening post. And over the years a lot has changed, including may opinions on some matters. With the amount of far rights and blatant racists this thread has attracted, I've been tempted to delete the thread and be done with it... But I thought I'd leave it up seeing that the information on the Internet about Uhuru was very limited, and the opinions uttered by all participants in this thread is pretty informative...

So, the time finally arrived to see whether this prediction (doom porn?) will come true... I have nothing left to add to the topic, I've said more than my fair share over the years. I will however stick with my opinion that "Uhuru - Night of the long knives" will NOT happen.

I wonder how long we'll have to wait before the staff move this thread to the Hoax bin...

Edit: And the answer to the last questions is apparently: at least six places from where the blacks would stage their night-attack on Johannesburg on the day of Mandela's funeral... So in a week's time we can all launch complaints and ask that this thread be moved to hoax.

With the amount of Christians being slaughtered in arab states these day, I would bet money the 'west' would be quite happy for blacks to slaughter whites in South Africa, South Africa has one of the highest murder rates in the world no one seems all that bothered about that.

I was actually hoping that you would post here, as you are the OP; and I wondered what you would say about the theory eight years on.

While, it may be unlikely that Uhuru will happen; it is possible. And I truly hope that it will not happen. Within the coming days, we shall see what will happen. Most likely, nothing will happen. However, the possibility exists that this may actually happen. Whether the people who first put this out there were correct, and had genuine information; or if a group of people were inspired by this "prophecy" commit something along the lines of Uhuru.

Regardless of what happens with Uhuru, there is a real issue here. Everyday people are being killed in SA (Suid Afrika- yes I do speak a bit of Afrikaans), and though many blacks, coloureds, and Asians are being killed; many whites are killed, tortured, and raped because of their race. This needs to stop. Suid Afrika has many issues, but this one is not being dealt with whatsoever. The police are not doing anything, and often collaborate with the assailants.

Many European South Africans are blamed for some of the bad things their ancestors did. As a European American, I also face this prejudice every day. Yes, slavery was wrong, yes apartheid and segregation were wrong. However, you should not Kay the blame in the entirety of a race. And this is what is happening in Suid Afrika, and this is what is happening in the US.

And I am truly tired of it. The world stands by when these horrible events are occurring, they did it when the whites were exterminated in Zimbabwe, Rwanda, and now Suid Afrika. Does the west not care about it's brethren? I would also lay blame especially upon the UK, and the Netherlands the two nations where the majority of White Suid Afrikaans are from. Do they not care about the people they sent to that god-awful place, in the first place?

This situation utterly baffles me.
