Gaza,

More like Piasecki H-21C:

US used these choppers first at Nam. (first US choppers in Nam..)

whilst the Army sent 33 H-21Cs to South Vietnam as early as December 1961, making the Shawnee one of the first US military aircraft to arrive in-theatre. More than 90 of these obsolescent utility helicopters would eventually see action over Vietnam up to their final retirement in 1969.

Piasecki H-21C WORK HORSE

This really is not the truht?

This is just propaganda by west trying to play IIRAF down as potent force.

But IIRAF used the F-14s mostly as 'mini-awacs'.. guiding F-4/5s.

Here about IIRAF F-14 victories:
www.acig.org...

Those maked with green are confirmed.

And at back in the 80s when USSR got these F-14s they were best US navy fighters around.

And also IIRAF tomcat had only its AIM-54 little downgraded.. but not the radar.. it was the same potent AWG-9 as in US machines.
