It could be...

WHO COMPOSED THE SOLAR SYSTEM?

The program SETI (searching for ET civilizations) celebrating 40 years,
and the scientists came with a surprisingly declaration: the solar system is
probably an artificial system that composed by a superior civilization.
Why?
There is no other planets system that is arranged in the same way.

Earth and all the solar system are probably an artificial system that
composed by a superior civilization. To that conclusion reached the
participant of the conference that been held by International project
SETI (40 years ago). The conference takes place in the Astrophysics
laboratory, in the Academy of Science in Russia.
Explain, Prof. Leonid Ksanpomality, the Manager of the planets physics
lab in the Academy of Science in Russia. In all the other solar system
without any exceptions, the biggest planets are close to the sun and the small
one like Earth is far from the sun. But in our solar system it is the
opposite, the smallest planets are close to the sun.
20 year ago, only a scientist that was not take care for his reputation
could say that maybe the solar system composed by a superior
civilization, but now, things change a lot. Continue D"r Sergay
Yazeb, the senior
scientist in the institute of physics of the Sun, in his report that was
given to all the participants he mentioned 6 mysterious attributes of
our solar system that distinguish it from all the other solar systems that
the scientists discover until today.
".Today according to the knowledge we have, we don't have any other
explanation to the formation of the solar system but, intervention of
superior civilization" conclude D"r Yazeb.

no, seti is still alive and kicking...well, i guess not kicking, being that they still havn't found didly.

anywho.....This is just plain dumb...In 20 years with all the new telescopes we will have, we will have categorized a large number of solar systems...versus today.
You cant make a huge leap like that based on only what we have seen so far.

These "scientist" should just be quiet and sit down.....I dont want them to wonder off to far, or they might fall off the end of the earth.

So what happened then?

These superior beings got in there giant tug boats and pulle the planets into position. I dont see how any civilisation could create something so huge. And why would they do it anyway.

i think the universe is very random and there be many different types of systems out there, we just haven't discovered enough yet

My understanding of the techniques used for detecting planets around other stars is that planets the size of Earth or Venus (let alone as small as Mercury or Mars) are still undetectable. We can only pick out really big "planets" as yet.

From SETI's own website:

In the last half-dozen years, astronomers have made a remarkable discovery: roughly 5 - 10% of stars similar to the Sun have planets. They have observed this fraction of stars to periodically wobble in response to the orbital motion of unseen worlds. However, every one of the planets detected by this method is hefty, typically the size of Jupiter or larger. This preponderance of massive worlds is an inevitable consequence of the detection scheme: only large planets induce measurable wobbles.

Have a browse here www.seti.org... and you'll see that the detection of Earth-sized objects has not been started yet and is developmental work-in-progress for the next few decades.

Furthermore, the Dr Yazeb of the article does not seem to be a member of the SETI team (www.seti.org... & www.seti.org...), but he was speaking at a Conference of Raelians (which was celebrating 40 years of SETI). Here's more about the article and Dr Yazeb: www.metimes.com...

The Russian Academy of Science does not list Dr Yazel or Professor Ksanpomality under their staff lists: www.ras.ru.... The Russian Academy of Science also has no departments or institutes delaing with "planets physics" or "physics of the Sun" (www.ras.ru... and www.ras.ru... [click on the "+" signs beside the departments]).

Some poor journalism can really confuse a person can't it?

Cheers.

I was just about to mention what d60944 just said.

Anyway, given the sheer number of stars being around 400 billion, then that means about 10% are capable of having a planet and amonst those, another 10% is bound to be able to have life. That gives us 40 million possible solar systems. This is assuming that there are around 400 billion starts.

I got this info from a TV show which was on a while ago in the UK.
It was very interesting.

Hey, you never know. Maybe there is something to that tiamat story after all. Or maybe after our planets getting hit over time sizes changed as well as order.
