"“An overwhelming percentage of our users agreed that Minister Farrakhan made the most positive impact on the Black community over the past year and chose him as the person most worthy to receive the honor of BET.com’s 2005 Person of the Year,” said Retha Hill, BET.com’s vice president for Content. "

This article should scare the heck out of everyone. Farrakhan has called for the murder of jews, whites, etc, etc, etc. He is a racest to the "Nth" degree and should be in a cell next to David Duke.........

Telling the lie that white people planted explosives and
blew up the levy's in New Orleans so as to kill as many
black people as possible IS NOT something that has a
positive impact on the black community in America.

What's really sad is that many black people listened to him
and believed him. Nevermind that SCIENCE proved him
wrong.

We have to better educate people so that the next time a
self serving idiot like Farrakhan comes along, people will
ignore his lunacy and he'll crawl back under the rock that
he came from.

Doesnt surpirse me, BET is nothing but a racist network in the first place, Ive tuned to it a few times just for the heck of it, And have yet to see one white person or anyone other then black on it.

How long would White Entertainment Television (WET) last if it did the exact opposite?

Segregation didnt end, it only changed.

We have jerks like this guy and Jesse Jackson to thank for that.

BET.com Users should be ashamed of themselves. Oprah Winfrey more deserved that honor than Farrakhan.

BET.com

However keep in mind it says "BET.com Users" voted him the winner, which basically says to me, Farrakhan followers responded to the online vote in deceitful manner, probably multiple votes, or they actually campaigned for votes in their meetings and such.

oh and moving this to U.S. News Discussion btw.

As ye sow, so shall ye reap.

I don't advocate it, but it does happen. And it is TRULY amazing how many people just don't get it. Even the so-called Christians who really should know their Bible.
