?cereal? Raisin Bran ... or as when I was a child ... Yaisin Bran

I was probably about 4-5, at the time, and had woken before the rest of the family. I went downstairs, got a bowl and filled it with Raisin Bran, topped it off with milk, sat down and commenced eating.

Only problem was, I had used a "serving bowl" which held almost the entire box [big box back then]. I had to eat every last bit ... ugh ... so as not to get an ass chappin' for wasting food.

Still love Yaisin Bran though

When I was little, I used to absolutely love Lucky Charms and I randomly remembered about them about six months ago, went to the supermarket to buy some and they didn't have any! I think they stopped making them.

I know, it's heartbreaking. They were the best thing since sliced bread! I may have to start a petition to get them back in production or start protests!

BRING BACK LUCKY CHARMS! FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, BRING THEM BACK!

I could nearly freakin live on cereal but I don't like cereals that get really soggy too fast so I stay away from any crispies and pebbles stuff-I prefer cocoa puffs etc over crispies

oh and re: Lucky Charms-it comes in CHOCOLATE now. Yep, Chocolate Lucky Charms

I;m a cereal fiend. I too used to love Lucky Charms, it's absolutely unbelievable that they have been stopped for so long.
I blame either:
a). Europe
b). Blair
or c). Tesco

Someones responsible for the severe lack of Lucky Charms round here

There was a similar type of cereal out a while back, Pokemon Cereal, but it wasn't nearly as nice

So, right now, minus the Lucky Charms, the top 3 are:

1). Special K - The best. I wish they wouldn't keep advertising it exclusively to women, I don't want to feel effeimnate just because I love the bloody cereal!
2). Golden Grahams ("normal" flavour, the cinnamon ones are a touch less tasty)
3). Ricicles - Very sweet, very nice

grape nuts used to be pretty good. but you have to let them soak in the milk a little bit if you eat a lot like i do, or the roof of your mouth will be saying 'no more, that's enough!'.
they're pretty crunchy.

another one i used to like was a cereal called alpen. i don't even know if it's around anymore.

i'm still a 'cereal killer', just not as often anymore.

edit = last line.

Why the hell did they stop selling Lucky Charms in the UK? Were the Irish taking offense to the little leprechaun dude or something?

I need to start selling boxes of Lucky Charms to the Brits on Ebay or something.

Peace

The best cereals must be:

Frosties
Sugar Puffs
Rice Krispies
Wheetabix
Riceicles

You just can't beat them

Does it bother anyone when people don't add milk to their cereal?

How could you not add milk!?

I like Rice Krispies Treats, but alot of times they don't sell them so I get the regular Rice Krispies and add 6 - 10 spoonfuls of sugar.

Vulgar, I can just about bare to have 1 spoon of sugar in Rice Krispies....if I wanted sweet rice krispies I'd just buy Ricicles, they taste much better than sugar coated rice krispies.

In all honesty Special K and Golden Grahams are the only kings of Cereal, anything else is an imposter.
