Buddies List doesn't work

I'm sure I'm missing something here, but I tried adding someone to my "buddies" list, (just testing it out, not sure if it's useful yet) and the link is a dead link.

I have tried in both Firefox and IE with no success.

Here's the method I used (in case there's more than one way to do it)

I clicked on a poster's profile, and clicked on the "(Add to Buddies)" link.

BTW I don't have Javascript disabled.

This is the link it's trying to load:
_javascriptopup('buddy.php?action=add&buddy=sanctum', 'Window', 250, 300);

And From the Mysetting area,when I try to launch a buddies list, the link is also broken.

As far as I know, the list hasn't worked in a loooong time. I'm not sure it ever worked.
And, I don't think there are plans to enable it. Consider it a glitch.

Perhaps going to the member's profile and adding that link to the BOOKMARKS of your browser would be a good alternative.

Never has, never will. Relic of a time long past.
