NUKU'ALOFA, Tonga -- A magnitude 6.0 earthquake struck the South Pacific nation of Tonga during a simulated tsunami warning drill Wednesday.

There were no reported casualties or damage.

It was the latest in a series of quakes to hit the Pacific Ocean as about 20 nations took part in tests of a tsunami warning system.
