USAF flying saucer photo - fake

This interesting image is actually an photo of the D-558-2, its B-29 mothership, two F-86s, and support crew. The first image has been heavily photoshoped, obviously.




Its the same wit h this interesting image I found ages ago of what appears to be a flying saucer on a runway.

Actually the bottom pictire is real. It is the RQ-3A DarkStar Tier III Minus

The bottem picture is the fake one, the one above is the Darkstar Tier III

Ah Photoshop...the scurge of the high seas picture manipulation wise. No wonder people look on sceptically when pictures of ufos and other phenomenon are posted,especially when some are so blatantly fake..

what would be the advantages of huge circular wings. The only advantages that i could think of are larger internal fuel tanks therefore longer range, more lift therefore more weapons could be carried.

This alleged aircraft would be highly unstable. The pilot would have virtually no forward visibility at any positive angle-of-attack (AOA). The jet intakes are too small, and placed in such a way that airflow would be restricted at high AOA. The landing gear configuration is also ridiculous.
