Long story short, I'm good friends with my former Latin teacher and we email often. I sent him a quote, and he fussed that it was grammatically wrong and fixed it, and then sent me one back.

However, I don't actually remember much Latin as I slept through most of those classes... I can get bits of the line, but not enough to come up with it altogether.

I know what you're thinking-- Why not just ask him?... I did... He won't tell me- "I wouldn't be a good teacher if I just told you the answer."... That and it's supposed to be somewhat rude and sounds "much less polite in English."...

So anyone who can translate Latin- I'd be forever indebted to your intelligence...

meam pecuniam capere tantum conare, canis.

well according to translation-guide.com it translated as: 'meam money be taken only effort , dog.' Kind of an akward saying. I wouldn't rely on online translators though.

I actually just received a translation from a friend:

"just try to seize my money, dog"

AKA, try and take my money, b****

Oh ok, that makes sense. Like I said, online translators are not subjective enough.
