If you have ever had the fortune of reading "The Magicians Nephew" by C.S Lewis [author of the more famous the lion, the with and the wardrobe] you might of come across a small statement made.

"It is not certain that some wicked one of your race will not find out a secret as evil as the Deplorable Word and use it to destroy all living things. And soon, very soon, before you are an old man and an old woman, great nations in your world will be ruled by tyrants who care no more for joy and justice and mercy than the Empress Jadis. Let your world beware. That is the warning"
Was said by Aslan, now in the next book the boy & girl who he said this to are old. The man is even featured in the next book [maybe as a reminder oh his warning] and the time its set in is during WW2.

Coincidence? Or was Lewis subtly warning the world of what was to come?

WOOPS!
I just checked when it was published, the book was published in 1955.
