Ever fancied a piece of really exclusive real estate, somewhere exotic where only the rich can play and the riff-raff can't afford to go? Then how about buying a stake in the moon?

Or how do you fancy...MARS..!

TRD,

"Could it be possible to own the Universe??? "

I really think that not.

There is somewhere out there other civilisations, that may have better base for this 'claim'..

Good scam!

one of the best I have seen in awhile.

how do humans take control of the moon?

we must have to conquer it then claim that we are the superior lifeform and then decide to colonize it then...

whoops that's what is going to happen to us...

I imagine that one day someone is going to own territory on the moon and Mars.... the rest of the univervse is a bit big though.

I am relatively certain that someone is being sued right now for selling plots of the moon. Although some guy in California made a mountain of dough selling plots.

What an interesting topic you have brought up TRD. I wonder if I can lay claim to Asteroid Ida?

They used to say - "only the Sun rises for free". Not anymore: in a move intended to expose the phony "extraterrestrial real estate" industry, a space lawyer "claimed" ownership of the Sun. "While it has become increasingly popular to 'buy' properties on the Moon and other planets, the claims of Mr. Dennis Hope of the Lunar Embassy and of other extraterrestrial real estate 'owners' and 'sellers' are ridiculous and without legal foundations" - declared Virgiliu Pop, a PhD Candidate at Glasgow University specialising in extraterrestrial property rights. "If they believe they can own a celestial body just because it has not been claimed before, and then sell it to the public, so can I say I own the Sun and charge the 'extraterrestrial owners' for solar energy".
