There is a good interview (MP3 audio) with Dr. Joseph Romm on the Hydrogen Car and why it will not be the car of the future (not a foreseeable one).

His idea of Plug-in Hybrid make a lot of sense.

Makes sense. The alternative vehicle designers are certainly half assing it.

With water vapour carborators you don't even need to invest billions into designing and developing all kinds of different vehicles.

For instance the Hybrid Car. What a half ass design. It's not what it's cracked up to be.

With Water Vapour carborators even a classic muscle car can get 150-200 MPG.

All these vehicle technologies are very intriging but it's a total waste considering we don't need to buy Fuel Cell cars which would probably cost 10 times as much as a regular auto. We already have the vehicles all that is needed is a relatively easy Carb. alteration to include gas and water vapour.
