Illumination or Enlightenment?

If one really looks at the history that has been presented to us as exoteric/esoteric, I have a quick poll to discern some points of debate that surround mystery schools of the Western and Eastern philosophies about 'seeing the light.'

Illumination and Enlightenment are:

I think ingnorance is bliss only if your ingnorant to your own ignorance.
