War Strategies 2

This is the follow-up to my first post.
And this time is about the America and Japan War over the Philippines.

According to my researches:

Spain first invaded The Philippine Islands
Then America bought the Philippines from Spain
Then Japan took over the Philippines when America lose it's control and connection in the said country.

So now, what do you think about the infos?

Is Japan really powerful to defeat America or they just have plenty of techniques and strategies to fool the American Generals and leaders?

I'm counting on you're opinion.

This time we need unity over our voices to know if majority thinks that War Stategies depend on the leaders or their followers.
