Quake Rocks Seabed Between Micrones, Guam

SYDNEY, Australia (AP) - A powerful earthquake rocked the seabed Tuesday between the Pacific island groups of Micronesia and Guam, the U.S. Geological Survey said on its Web site.

There were no immediate reports of injuries or damage and the Hawaii-based Pacific Tsunami Warning Center did not immediately issue any warning that the quake could have generated a tsunami.

I really found the article interesting because at the end it said that none of these quakes have caused any major damage. It would be quite a shock, I think if something happened like what happened last year. It would also be devastating.

This is a good thing to notice, because most people, at least before the Christmas Tsunami, seemed to think that earthquakes were more or less rare and that the Tsunami was unusual.

Considering Guam has the largest mountain blow sea level, 1993 August 8. An 8.1 quake rumble like the hands of God, thanks to the marinas trench and underwater mountain save our lives. We are truly bless.
