Think I asked that one earlier...

But I'd take game show I think, odds of winning some real cash are better like 1 in 3 on most shows like Jeopardy, 1 in what 12 or so on most reality shows.

Would you rather...
Be on The Apprentice or The Amazing Race

Yeah I swiped it from someone, I enjoyed it so thought I'd throw it out again.

Ahh I would go with Amazing race. Apprentice would be your life, but seeing everything in the amazing race... wow. Ill go with that.

Survivor or American Idol?

To play...Survivor, Idol is just too cheesy (oh and I'm over the age limit I think). Plus I have a quick temper and would probably beat Simon to a pulp with a microphone stand one day.

Would you rather...
watch Family Guy or Mysteries of the Bible

I would take Family guy over a lot of things, not much of a debate here.

Would you rather Walk the Line or Ray?

Haven't seen Walk the Line yet, but still would pick it. Bigger Cash fan than Ray.

Would you rather...
Watch a Spielberg or a Kevin Smith movie?

I really enjoy both of their work, but I will have to go with Steve. He can really blow you away.

Would you rather Ron Howard or Speilberg?

I'll go with Spielberg...Close Encounters alone gets me there.

Staying on the director theme

Would you rather...
Terentino or Spike Lee

Ahh good one. I'll take Spike Lee mainly because I could watch one of his movies any time.. the whole Quentin theme he has.. I need to be in the mood for one of his. Even though I own most of his movies.. I need to be in the mood.

Would you rather a Spielberg or Copolla?

Is it two P's or Two L's

Copola.. nope... Coppolla.. maybe... Copolla... hrm? Coppola...

My vote is for Coppolla.. Do a google search in a minute to see if I am right.

Expect an edit.

Edit: Damnit! Copolla ..

tough one...I'll go with Coppola. Mainly because of Apocalypse Now and the fact that he backed Lucas early on with THX 1138 and American Graffiti and I don't know what I would have turned out like without Star Wars.

Would you rather (on the same theme some more)
Kubrick or Lucas

Ahh I am a major star wars fan, but the latest 3 were not that great. Lucas has made countless money on his star wars reign.

I think I'll actually go with Stan on this one.

Would you rather Oliver Stone or Kubrick?

Kubrick hands down. I think I could put Full Metal Jacket, 2001, and Clockwork Orange on endless loop and watch them for a month or more before getting bored.

Okay lets get off the film makers for one.

Would you rather read Vonnegut or Kafka?

posted on Mar, 8 2006 @ 03:16 PM

Not really familiar with either. What are some examples of their work.

Casablanca or Citizen Kane?

posted on Mar, 8 2006 @ 04:12 PM

Casablanca...Love Bogey and most Film Noir.

Vonnegut: Slaughterhouse Five, Breakfast of Champions (both excellent reads IMHO). If I'm not mistaken BoC was turned into a movie with Bruce Willis.

Kafka: probably best known for The Metamorphosis - pretty messed up stuff

Would you rather...
Classic Sci-Fi movie (i.e. The Day the Earth Stood Still et al.) or stuff from the last 10 or so years (Independence Day et al.)

posted on Mar, 8 2006 @ 04:24 PM
link
Hrmm.. Im probably going to go with the last 10 years, only because theirs more of a selection that I enjoyed. Their was an old flick that I really enjoyed that I am trying to think of off the top of my head, and probably one of my favorite sci-fi's of all time.

I guess I have not gave them much of a chance for this to be a fair fight.

Huge fan of film noir as well. Maltese Falcon.. Sunset Boulevarde..

Hrmm..

Would you rather watch a Pauly shore film or a silent film.. say birth of a nation?

posted on Mar, 8 2006 @ 04:41 PM

Although there is a guilty pleasure watching a Pauly Shore movie, I'm going to go with Silent Film just for the nostalgia of it.

Would you rather...
Adam Sandler flick or Will Farrell flick?

posted on Mar, 8 2006 @ 04:58 PM
link
Ahhhhh actually this is easy.

Will Ferrell can be classic, but he does alot of bad ones. Very rare for sandler to have a bad one.

Have you seen Going Overboard? Man that has to be the worst movie of all time though.

SNL or Mad TV?

posted on Mar, 9 2006 @ 02:16 PM
link
Long run I'll go with SNL. Mad TV is more consistant IMHO and is usually a little entertaining while SNL has had some of the best sketches ever. However SNL can oft times be the biggest let down and waste of 1.5 hours.

Would you rather...
Speed Racer or Speed Buggy

posted on Mar, 9 2006 @ 09:50 PM

Perfect quote their, Mad is deffinately more consistent but SNL has some of the greatest moments on television.

I'll go with speed racer.

Family Guy or Simpsons?

family guy

watching boxing or wrestling

Not always be the same answer, but today I'm going to go with Boxing.

Would you rather Reality TV or a Sitcom?
