Some folks make afterlife pacts. They promise each other in
the group that after death, they will try to make contact with
the other members who are still alive - if possible.

Are there any posters here interested in that? I'm not sure
how we'd know where to go to 'meet up' since we are all
anon. behind avatars and madeup names. But we could
try.

I'm willing to make a promise to try to contact people
who sign up if it is possible for me to do so after I die.

Considering I'm most likely much older than the rest of you
... I think chances are I'm most likely to go before most of you
unless natural disaster or accident happen.

Any takers??

hhhmmm as interested as i am.It would be hard to connect with anyone without any kind of physical contact or object that every one of the pact has shared vision and physical or spirtitual contact with. There would have to be alot of ritual practise behind it and everyone would have to put their intent on it to work.

Like I said ... I don't know how it would work with us online like this
and not knowing each others places on this planet. However, we
could TRY. Perhaps in the spirit world there are ways to know where
people are and so on. It might be worth a try. Make a promise to
try if it is possible, and if it's not possible ... then nothing happens
and nothing is lost.

I would make the promise and then say that I'd try to make my
sign something like a certain number popping up or a certain
song popping up at certain times ... or a full body apparition
if that's possible because that's the best. whatever.

I'm open to suggestions on this ... it could be interesting.

You know what, the more we even talk about this.I can feel a small pool of
your energy behind it. So i guess im already in.I think we can just use this board (thread)to communicate and keep us working on our waves(speaking loosely). So I will put my intent out there I will do a small focus ritual tonight towards it.Of course this might lead to greater things but im
glad to be onboard,if youll accept me.im off for now ill be on later..

I tried to set this up with some of my friends to prove an afterlife etc, but they didn't seem so interested.

As long as you promise not to haunt me or try to scare the crap out of me, I'm in. Although it will be tricky. Especially if this thread dies and you forget about it, and die a few years, or even a few decades later. You'd pretty much need to remind yourself about it every day. Plus the task of finding people that you don't even know the names of, let alone where they live, etc.

Here's a thought -

Have a mod/supermod volunteer to be a point of contact.
That way it's someone who isn't likely to be banned, etc.
The person would be open to being the point of contact
and so there wouldn't be 'resistance' to spiritual activity
by us - the pactees - after we die and try to make contact.

Also, have a back up point of contact.

Obviously we don't know how the spirit world works. From
what I have read of NDE's, people just 'think' about the person
they want to see or to be with and ... poof ... they are there.
So if we thought about the person we wanted to be with,
it might just take us there.

IF we are able and IF we are allowed ....

How's that sound? Any mod volunteers to be a point of contact?

I'd love to be a part of this, and as Yarcofin pointed out I really don't want anyone haunting me or trying to scare me. Everyone should agree to this if they want to be included.
