Foreign Countries & Foreign Languages!

If you could learn a foreign language what language would you choose and why? Most people on this website are probably from the USA, UK, Canada, etc. If you could live somewhere else, where would you live?

Learning a foreign language is almost like being apart of a completely new club or world. It's like being able to change worlds. Suddenly there are millions of more people that you can either talk to, date, work for, or just hang out with. If there is a certain culture, food, style of life you particularly like, you could get to participate in it. Considering the politics and laws of different countries and regions are very different, you could possibly move to another country and do things you couldn't even do before.

My theory is, if you are relatively young, learning another language could make life more interesting going forward. But what do I know.

I already had this option in high school. Out of French, German and Spanish, I chose German.

I kind of wish Spanish was my choice. Maybe then I could communicate with me neighbors. :shk:

If I could choose another language, it would be Italian or French to woo my husband with.
