Background colour for avater

I see some people have a colour behind there avater, like black etc, i cant find anyway how to do mine

Follow this link, or use this button: external image which can be found on the top right of your screen.

Then when your in the member center, on the left of your screen will be the store, click the button next to Custom mini-profile background color, and your well on your way to changing your background colour.

The ATS Store is in the mCENTER. The button is at top of the page on the right.

And it costs 250 points

I want a black background too.

You can also use the "Text color" which changes the text on your mini-profile.

When changing your background color it will ask for a 6 digit hexadecimal color.
I use colorschemer.com for finding out what number is what color .

To anyone changing their background color... Your default profile font color is black, so if you want to change your background to black, you'll need to change your font text to something else (so it is easily legible), this is an additional 150 points.

This will prevent any awkward moments.

Or, if like Umbrax, you have the same colour text as the background, you will need to highlight to find out who it is!!

My text is white and my background image is red and black.

Is it? Seems your text is white and the background is also white. There is a thin red border around your avatar, but I cannot see your name....

Prob just me then.....

That is really odd. You should be seeing this, atsmedia.cachefly.net...

And under my background image it is set to black.

I have no idea why it is showing up white for you. That really sucks because the color really goes well with the avatar

From time to time we see this problem, especially with non-IE browsers.
