Well sorry, but I can't agree on that one. Without the Shoa, the jews wouldn't have left in mass Europe in the 40' to create their own state. They would just did what they had always did, living in the counries where they were born before the Shoa.

They left Europe because of the fear of a possible second Shoa so they felt they needed to have their own state/country in order of self-defense.
