If you find all this too boring, just scroll down to the bottom of this post to find my point. I would like to go through the events that led to my interest in the subject of this thread.

A few weeks ago I was watching a TV documentary about Einstein's fruitless quest to develop a theory of everything encompassing quantam physics. He felt that there must be some way to accurately predict the speed and location of quantam particles. As a believer in God he simply could not come to terms with the thought that quantum particles were unpredictable leading to his famous quote, "God does not play dice." This led me to read more about quantam physics and the more I read, the more disheartened I become, because it started to make more and more sense that quantum particles were unpredictable. As I read further it lead to the theory that alternate universes and alternate realities exist, and eventually that perhaps there is no reality. I have long had a desire to learn more about what governs our physical world, and to me this possibility, caused me to question all that I know about the physical world because perhaps none of it is even real. No longer did I feel the learn any more about the physical world as it may all just exist in my mind.

This simply was not a satisfactory outcome and I decided I needed to develop some theory that would allow me to continue my interest in learning about the physical world and the way it works. I came to the conclusion that quantum physics involved elements of the physical world and the non-physical world. As physics is the study of the physical world, the fact that it's laws did not stand up in the non-physical world was perfectly acceptable. Most likely this explanation is quite innaccurate but it has allowed me to continue my quest so I'm satisfied with it.

Having overcome that hurdle, I continued to read more about quantum physics and other theories, which led to string theory and the existence of 11 dimensions, which enabled the universe to come into existence. I got to thinking about what these other dimensions might be as I have often heard about them but what they might be are not really explained. I started to think that some of these other dimensions might be the spirit world (inhabited by those who have died), alternate parralell universes, heaven, and the non-physical world (inhabited by those who are living). This led me to the theory that perhaps we could visit these othewr higher dimensions in a dream state.

I have long been able to realise that I was dreaming whilst in my dream (I believe the term is lucid dreaming). When this occurs I usually just do whatever I want and don't think about where my physical body is. I believe that when this occurs and I find myself in a lucid dream rather than just explore the imaginary world of my dream, I should be able to explore the physical world I live in. If and when I am able to do this while I'm sleeping I see no reason why I can't reach this state of mind while I'm awake. Furthermore why should I be restricted to the physical world, why couldn't I explore other places in the universes and indeed other dimensions.

At the present time I manage to have about one lucid dream per week and on a couple of these occasions I have remembered to concentrate on exploring reality firstly by viewing myself sleeping in my bed. So far when I have done this I woke up once straight away, the second time I was tricked into believing I woke up when actually I was just in a new dream and the last and most recent time I was tricked into believing I was actually exploring reality whilst dreaming but later found at that it was just a very realistic illusion.

However, i feel that I am making progress and that it is no longer a question of if but when I achieve my goal of exploring other dimensions. In the past I had been able to have lucid dreams about 5% of the time. Over the years this figure has increased to about 90%. The problem was as it increased the frequency with which I had dreams (or dreams that I remembered decreased to about 1 in every 3 months. However over the last couple of months I have had dreams every night and I now document my dreams and am able to have dreams every time I go to sleep. The only problem now is that the percentage of lucid dreams has fallen to about 5% again. I now suspect that this has always been the case and the fact that my frequency of dreams that I was remembering had deterioted so much led me to only remember the lucid dreams thus believing the percentage had reached 90%. However I apologise if you are all bored out of your brain from reading this but I felt the need to document it. Here is my discussion topic:

I wish to hear other people's opinions on the ability to attain or enhance Psionic abilities and explore other dimensions through lucid dreaming.

i agree with you. i think that if superhuman abilities can be achieved through lucid dreaming, it is just a matter of finding the link between the "dream" and the "reality", although both are an illusion. lot to say... too much to be said.

have you done any research on pi? you'll.. see... something

Edit: It's not wise to post your email addy on ANY site.

i think the answer to your question would be telepathy, and the ability for the human mind to coherently converse through these higher dimensions. the evolutionary growth spurt of the human mind, and consiously communicating above known levels of speech into high state of spiritual awareness. your lucid dreams are nothing more then a parler trick brought upon by more spiritually aware entities, who harbor your existance into these higher realms of being. imo

Yep, once you begin to explore the outer reaches of theoretical Physics…… well you begin to understand that anything is possible. In fact, due to quantum weirdness and the unknown makeup of 95% of the universe, it looks like the least viable models of reality are the strictly materialistic or dualist theistic models. They seem antiquidated, mere relics of embarrassingly simplistic accounts of our life world.

In a nutshell: if we don’t actually know what the universe is composed of, how can we make valid claims about what reality isn’t composed of?

Accordingly, UFOs are most likely interdimensional in my opinion. While I don’t pretend to know what that means in real terms, I think it is more reasonable then thinking in terms of nuts and bolts and bits of space age plastic.

When you speak about dream experiences as entry points to closely tethered alternative-reality planes…… I would like to point out that philosophically speaking, the mere fact of waking up in the morning and experiencing consciousness cannot be explained by materialist physics. Experience itself cannot be quantified, reproduced or even examined sufficiently. If you are now experiencing yourself questioning experience then that should highlight the fallacy of ‘objective’ science in itself. So, what I am saying, is that the simple act of having a cup of tea is already in defiance of the boundries of materialist science. I just wish I was born fifty years in the future, by which point we will have abandoned the deterministic computational models of what it means to be human.

It is a dream that reveals an exact image of a setting or sequence of events that later occurs. Mine have been like a photograph or video in their accuracy, and except for two, which had slight variations, the setting was exactly the same as far as I could determine. The real scene would appear anywhere from a day to over 5 years after the dream. Also, the preceding events which led up to the real event were sometimes totally out of my control. For example, in one case, a couple I knew had to break up, and she had to move away from home in order for the scenario to develop. There was no way I could have influenced such actions to occur. And I never know which of my dreams will end up being precognitive until the scene appears later. So they are not prophetic, premonitions, or deja vu, but nonetheless, my concept of time has necessarily had to be drastically revised in order for me to have an acceptable explanation of how this is possible.

this is a very interesting topic and very broad too

I have read somewhere while back that we humans have capablities to reach a higher state of mind where we take a form of a bright lite, engy source called AURA. Further it stated that we only occupie the human body inorder to get things accompished in the unreal world we live in. Also this form of state should be able to be accomplished doing heavy meditation. Meditation is a way to find that inner peace within yourself.

very interesting i must admit.
i will take on meditating, ishould have long time ago.

This is a very interesting topic.

First, I suggest you read Extra-Dimensional Universe by John R. Violette. When you put these things within the context of extra dimensions it really makes sense.

See, all beings are tied to the same consciousness but we manifest in different dimensions of space within time. See, you have 3 dimensions of space plus what we call real time. Imaginary time is the backdrop of all dimensions. All beings exist there before birth and after death. This is why Stephen Hawkings says imaginary time is actually more real than the time that we experience. This is why our wave function is tied to imaginary numbers, because we exist in imaginary time and we experience temporary existence in real time.

What's the difference between 5i and 5? 5i is not measurable but it's real. Only the squared natures are measurable, ixi =-1. When squared i manifest itself into reality.

So, the idea for a television exist in i until it is squared and it manifest in what we call reality. So the part of you that exists in imaginary time has access to these ideas that manifest in real time.

So we can actually travel to other dimensions through our consciousness that all beings are tied to. This is why Jesus said the Kingdom of Heaven is within you. He wasn't talking metaphorically, He meant literally. This is why we see ghost, shadow people and other paranormal events. It's because we extend into other dimensions but we can't fully sense those dimensions. We might extend into another dimension and catch a glimpse of someone in that dimension going to the store. I actually believe that UFO'S and the beings who fly them exist in a fourth dimension of space. A four-dimensional being would appear to us in three dimensional form, so we couldn't fully understand what they look like.

So, science will have to come up with math that governs the multiverse. This is why they can't unify the forces of nature. It's because gravity can float from dimension to dimension and all of the information within our universe is not contained in our universe. Hence, the uncertainty principle. This is why I'm glad that there are open minded Theoretical Physicist. They know that the universe is stranger than a science fiction book, but it's hard to explain what the math is telling them. Read Michio Kaku's book Parallel Worlds, Briane Greene's The Fabric of the Cosmos or anything by Fred Alan Wolf. Also Check out The Field, God at the Speed of Light and Quantum Mind.

Rememeber, Jesus talked about Parallel Worlds thousands of years before Dr. Kaku.

John 8:23 - And he said unto them, Ye are from beneath; I am from above: ye are of this world; I am not of this world.

The greek word for beneath is Kato and it means down, downwards or a place of temporal succession. Just go and look what above means. It's the difference between imaginary and real time or the difference between dimensions of space and time without dimensions of space.

John 18:36 - Jesus answered, My kingdom is not of this world: if my kingdom were of this world, then would my servants fight, that I should not be delivered to the Jews: but now is my kingdom not from hence.
