Yeah, I know I post a lot here but its because I suck. Anyway, Is there anyway I can convert old vinyl records to MP3 files?

You could probably buy some hardware that would do this.... or you could get a mic and like put it up to the record players speakers... but that would reduce quality...

What I do is get a phono-phono lead, plug one end in the headphones output on my HiFi and the other in the Line In on my sound card, then use sound recording software to record from the Line In.

I have done this several times all with good quality. The only times when I had bad quality was when the vinyl had it's own 'bumps' because of being old, but that's expected. I think you get eveb get software these days to take that track recorded from a vinyl source and delete those little 'bumps' - not used any though.
