Massachusetts sightings?? Hot Spots for UFO's??

Hey All,
Are there any places in Massachusetts that have frequent sightings?? are there any "secret bases" in Mass.??

if not...is it the taxes that scare them away??? the frigid cold?? or is it due to this being the Kennedy Home State???

just looking for someone 2 cents worth.....

there was a spat of sightings back in the 70's off of block island. I used to live there and it was in the papers for a couple of months.
Have not heard of anything (major) in recent times.
As for secret bases, I have never even heard of a rumour of one in that area. You maybe right.... the powers that be are scared of the kennedy compound

I guess they (ebe's) decided Mass was no place for them...too cold...too many bad drivers...lol

Actually in western MA, there are rumors of secret bases, mainly an underwater one beneath Quabbin reservoir. Also Westover air force base has had several sightings over the years, but you never hear much about them.

I've heard through the grapevine that there is quite the secret prison in Plymouth, Mass. The kind where people who get too smart for their own good end up. Doctors, scientists, etc. Nothing concrete to back this up, unfortunately, but it's something that's been floated around several times over the years in the circles I travel.

As for UFO's, well, I've seen some things in the New England skies that I can't explain. Most of which took place in Maine.

Exeter, N.H. has had a couple interesting sightings. One recent and the most interesting one was back in the 50's or 60's. (Google "Incident at Exeter" )

The aliens are probably afraid of a drunk Kennedy driving them into a lake, or another Kennedy crashing his Cessna into their UFO. Just a word of advice to the aliens who do visit the Kennedy's: Don't go on any ski trips!

But on a serious note, I can't really recall any major UFO stories coming out of Massachusetts. Probably because it's so cold that everyone is usually indoors trying to keep warm, rather then outside staring up at the sky.

I live in Methuen, near Lawrence and on the border of New Hampshire pretty much. I have seen things that lead me to believe certain things as well as having a night time encounter while I slept, when I posted it some called it sleep paralysis, but I think it was more than that.

Other than that, I can only say, I wish there was more.

Well, i live in Hyannis I cant say i've ever seen anything hovering over the Kennedy compound

I've volunteered for Eunice's Special Olympics and met Ben Afflec, Drew Bledsoe, Ahrnold and a few others. and things went as planned. No ET's!

I cant say i have seen anything strange since 1980. I called the cops and they practically told me i was crazy...

Next time- I wont tell them. Let them be the last to find out.

Well, I do have something to share, but it is not my story, but my 2 sisters story.

We all grew up more or less in Billerica, Massachusetts.

We had a decent sized yard, and our family loved camping, so one night my dad set up the tent for my 2 sisters when they were young. They were about 11 and 7 at the time. Later that night, they were awoken with what appeared as daylight all around them suddenly and without warning. It was so bright it startled them awake instantly. They both ran inside the house as fast as they could, and saw that it was 3 o'clock in the morning.

I don't know what actually happened to them, but for my youngest sister this wasn't the end of it. Some years later, a humanoid figure with glowing orange eyes came to visit her, (in the very room which I would later sleep in) and she was terrified. It even spoke to her and asked why she would not look at it, she told it something to the effect that she was scared, and then she says she rolled back over and tryed to hide under the covers and sleep. She claims it wasn't a dream.

Now I didn't experience either of these phenomena first hand, but I am inclined to believe them, and the first story seems more likely than the second, as they both witnessed it simultaneously.

there has been alot of sighnings in New hapshire over the past 3-5 months alot more then usual one month has like 5 or 6 sighings some are very interested the exeter one a few months ago was a guy saw a craft estimated to be 2000ft long and another one over nasua of a large triagle. ufocenter.com if you seach though there over the past seveal months for NH there are alot of interesing ones als you can seared the page for MA to for your state.

It funny how things happen....
While reading Obscure's post regarding a supposed secret prison in plymouth I happened to mention it to my buudy who's house I was at while checking in here at ATS and out of nowhere he blurts out "its true..seen it..." now this floors me so I ask "are you kidding me..no bull right??" and he says " yup seen it...passed by it on the way to a job....boss told me to keep it quiet". (my buddy's a construction worker) said he saw a fenced in area with a few buildings in it guarded by guys dressed all in black...with machine guns of course. said a black humvee followed them for a mile or two...then left.

sounds real to me.....

Perhaps I know of an occupant or two in said location. I'd offer more on this subject but I do not feel comfortable discussing it any further at this time.

I had a sighting where RT10 meets RT95 in Rhode island thats right around the Cranston area. Late at night driving home froim band rehersal. This was about Three years ago.

That is sort of like the experience I had, that I posted here months ago. In short:
I was in the semi-sleep mode where you can hear things around you but you think nothing of it and can sleep. "Something" poked the back of my right ear, as I was lying on my left side, facing the wall. I woke immediatly and was severly scared about what I just felt. I remember hearing sounds of feet walking on carpet, a sound which reminded me of the way my grandmother walked, sort of shuffling. Also hearing some talking, it was more of whispering and I never decyphered any of what I heard. So I sat in fear, still facing my wall not daring to turn around, I was pertified of what might be in my room.

After this, maybea few days later, I asked my sister why she was in my room and she said she wasn't, she was also asleep. I was about 12-13 at the time and I still have no explanation for this.

Hey Alpha... I'm also from MA. I posted this thread: Lights awhile ago but it got little response. It occurred in central MA in the late '70s.

I lived in Plymouth for awhile and happened to move there during the construction of the nuke plant. There was alot of talk, at the time, of people seeing strange humanoid creatures in the area of the Pine Hills which is a heavily wooded area that sits above the nuke plant (it has since been turned into condos). These stories came from a number of long-time residents. A dark, windy road ran up through there and people would see these creatures in or near that road.

I never heard of any secret prison. Do you have an approximate location? Plymouth is a HUGE town land area wise.

about the Plymouth prison location...very unsure of its actual location....and my freind is not talking.....but I do believe it exists.....my friend is not the only one who has seen it.....and I have received a u2u from somone about one month ago who also saw it (and other things He forbid me to share)

I checked out your thread.......awesome.....I would give my leg for such a encounter !!
